Skeptic, a character over at the Lazlo Society forums, seems to have an ineteresting take on the concept. He wrote about how during an investigation he was poisoned. The doctors were unable to identify the poison used, but his symptoms seemed like a curse to other members. Skeptic remained convinced that it was a poisoning by the suspectg against him. He might have beeb right for all we know. I like that usage of curses for BtS, as medical mysteries.

Ya know, I've done a curse like that. I afflicted a PC and didnt tell them they had it, I passed it off as a big of some kind, but they couldnt seem to get over. And the cold bug symptoms were starting to evolve into flu like symptoms. They went to dr's who couldnt find anything wrong with them. I think it finally took a Psi-healer visit and some other events to rid it.
