Looking for opinions on a Heroes (the tv show) character.

Not looking for a conversion by any means.

But the charcter from the show Heroes, Matt Parkman. What powers would you consider his to be? Like i know hes able to control everything the brain can do, but without being that broad what kind of powers would that entail?

I know theres always the psionic route, but actual Super Powers based.

Mr Parkman has displayed a number of very powerful and subtle abilities that are not very well replicated in HU2, or even replicated at all for that matter. The powers that come closest seem to have extra abilities on top of them.

Weere I to replicate them I'd go psionics with a major power...probably control (others)

Also, seems conversion-y.

Not having encountered the character, I would include a number of powers in controlling the brain, possibly including Disruption Touch, several of the "Possession" type powers, Mental Stun, and a few others.

The ability to alter and supress people's memories, multiple types of mind control etc. Some illusionary type powers.
To be honest. I'd probably use Champions(HERO) or GURPS. Some versions of M&M might work.

That cover most of what he did in the show with his Psionic Powers.
Some of the stuff he did was just one of these powers above, doing something just slightly different with it somehow.
The SHow was not 100% consistant with his abilities or ability.

Cool, thank you all very much, it helped me a bit with a campaign. This just seems like one of those characters who might have to bend the rules just a little bit.

I really like that list TechnoGothic, i do recall a lot of those being used, Maybe use most to all of the list plus the Illusions super power, to get a good feel of the character, since as you all pointed out they (the writers) were so back and forth with what he can and cant do.

By definition, asking what powers a character from a show would have constitutes a conversion. I am surprised that Nimmy did not close the thread. But yeah, I would just go psionics.
