Help with Vampire prices

Unread post by Baron mugwort »

Hey guys I am sure I remember seeing a price or bounty for Dead Vampires in one of the Atlantis books. Maybe I have lost the plot but if anyone knows what page they are on I would be most grateful. I am sure you got a million credits per vampire cause the Sploog's hate them. I could however have gone quite mad! It may well be in a different book. I dont have my books with me and will need to get a friend to check for me.

I do apologise to anyone offended by my post :)

pg 61 and 62 of WB 21 talk about the conflict between vampires and the sploogies, but I don't recall seeing anywhere a bounty of a million credits for vampires.

would be kinda hard to issue a bounty on dead vampires, i would think... to be more specific, i'm pretty sure any method of actually killing them destroys the corpse entirely.

WB2 Atlantis pg. 25

"Lord Splynncryth has offered a bounty of one million credits (or merchandise) for the head of every true vampire brought to his pyramid. An impaler rune sword and ten million credits is the prize for the person who uncovers the vampires lair (on the condition that said information enables the minions to raid an occupied nest and kill dozens of vampires)."
winning isnt a some of the time thing. its an all the time thing. we dont win...once in a while.
we dont do the right thing...once in a while.
we do the right thing...all of the time.
winning is a habit.
unfortunately, so is losing

yeah, that's what you call a cruel practical joke for the per-vampire bounty... "sure, bring me the head of the vampire and i'll give you a million credits"...

(as the bounty hunter walks away with a determined look on his face).

"oh man, i was barely able to keep a straight face that time. did you make sure to plant the spycam so we can see the look on his face when he figures it out? that new reality TV station is paying a lot of money for this kind of footage!"

how hard is it to put a staked corpse in one box and a head in another? Let the Spluggies deal with disposal.
