Favorite Robotech Faction
so whats your favorite faction from Robotech?
Personally I'm a mix between the ASC and the old UEDF myself, but I picked ASC, love the Hovertanks, plus I have a thing for Nova

Zentraedi. To qoute a certain blue-skinned genie, with paraphrased regard of a certain tall and blue-skinned alien commander; "You ain't never had a friend like me!"
Besides, I like large starships, and genetically engineered warriors(with that touch of both vulnerability and genuine courage).
Give them engineering training and proper emotional upbringings(or desensititization), they'll shake the cosmos again.

UEEF....sorry but transforming motorcycles in a post apocalyptic wasteland just does it for me.
I know it is a little extreme to advocate the death penalty for stupidity...but can't we just remove all the warning labels and let nature take it's course???

UEEF - Much more adventure and experience to be had
I am very opinionated. Yes I rub people the wrong way but at the end of the day I just enjoy good hard discussion and will gladly walk away agreeing to not agree

UN Spacy ("UEDF")... they're the most influential generation, and they have the best mecha.

UEF/UEDF- Hovertanks rock. the middle chapter is the best portion of Robotech.

Let me clarify my position. I voted UEEF in regards to the game. It definitely has the most potential for play in my opinion.
As for my personal favourite setting from the series I'd say Macross. I love me some VF-1s and Tomahawks.

Re: Favorite Robotech Faction
I personally like the time of the reconstruction era and the post in I'd arrival.
Doing either of these right, you can schedule in mecha upgrades. The in I'd scenario is by far a more popular with me due to the lack of military structure. Players are fighting in cell like organizations. Working hard to understand and take the enemy down.

lol since Macross II isn't apart of Robotech, I had to exclude it.
But trust me if Metal Sirens and Zentran Fighters were apart of it, I'd be on that boat!
