Thank You Fans From the Freelancers
Speaking on behalf of all the freelancers, I want to give out a tremendously heart-felt thank you to all the fans that came to the Open House. Every year I am humbled and flattered by all the praise heaped upon me that I do not feel that I am the equal of. You guys really know how to show your love, and the only way I feel I can measure up to that love is by working even harder to produce better and better artwork for you all so that maybe my quality will finally be deserving of your praise. Thank you so very, very much. Palladium fans are the finest.

Re: Thank You Fans From the Freelancers
It is always great to see you guys. I meant to stop on through and say hi and goodbye on my way out. You all do a superb job and are quite the friendly bunch. Until next year in Westland (or the year after), we'll have to be satiated on the good times we had there this weekend. Thanks to all the freelancers and the GMs too. You guys all deserve the heaps of praise you got.
A big thanks also to Kevin, Alex, Wayne, Julius, and Kathy for hosting everybody. They really do make it feel like a large family gathering. I know it must be stressful, but I think it is well worth it, and I hope they feel that way as well. I noticed Alex looked happy and healthy and that left me feeling like no matter what life throws at you, you can overcome it. I'm glad he is doing better. Kevin is always in such good spirits and that is uplifting as well. Everyone was very friendly and seemed like good times were had by all. Thanks again to everyone involved. And a big bag of thank yous to Mike Mumah.

..Here, here. The number of people that came up to me expressing haqppiness at the progress of my recovery was a bit overwhelming, but it's nice to know how many people care. I really enjoyed every moment of this Open House and am waiting with baited breath for the next.

Me too. Even as it was broken up the service, while friendly, was just bad. I really felt bad for our server, since she was also tending bar. Next time we'll just go to some buffet or something so I won't be half an hour late to my game.

hahaha. The game still went well. I'll just have to make it a point to be more creative with my game scheduling next year. I may only run 3.

Marker's crazy Eastern European plum brandy, that was quite a drink! The Bourbon was nice as well.

I don't know what's wrong with you guys, I'm fine. In fact, yesterday I left my cane in the bedroom, at least until after PT; I did have a bit of a scare though, when I put the leg press on 120lbs and couldn't budge it; Then I realized both sides were slaved together, so it was actually 190lbs...

Re: Thank You Fans From the Freelancers
Thanks to everyone that helped make this happen. I had a wonderful time. My only regret was that I didn't get to meet everyone, but at would be quite the feat. I'm sure I saw people that I "know" but didn't recognize because I was overwhelmed or having episodes of 'name-nesia' (I'm so bad with names).
Madman, I'm glad you're doing better every day. You're quite the trooper.
It was great to meet the people that I did, get the autographs I was able to obtain, play the games I participated in and just overall soak in the atmosphere. You all made it fun.

Oh yeah, I still don't think anyone would have missed Springfield MO if we had nuked it.
Hey, thanks to you guys for sticking it out to the wee hours. Maybe if you hadn't debated for 30-45 minutes whether or not to go deeper in... but then that's how I knew I was doing things right.
Oh, and just to note, you may have actually bought MY copy of Through the Glass Darkly. I thought I had borrowed one off the rack, so I put it up before we left the warehouse that night. But when I got back I realized I am now missing mine. Doh!
Anywho, I sincerely hope we'll get a chance in the near future to hang again, and I'll be happy to sign the NSG for ya then.
As far as Springfield, your characters lived there for chrissakes! Maybe you should have been playing the Spook Squad assassin.

Yeah, although I took pretty good care of it. I don't think it was one of them that had any marks in it. But if you bought it first thing next morning, Baphomet, chances are...
It's cool, though. Someone out there scored my reference copy and I'll just have Palladium send me a replacement copy next time I order something.
