Maybe that's why it's so obscure?

It's 'canon', not 'cannon'. A cannon is a big gun like on pirate ships, canon is what you mean when referring to something as being contained within one of the books such as how many dice to roll for a stat.

It didn't make it past the final edit, and as such, may not be entirely official, but all of the Mexican wolves on Rifts Earth are descended from a batch of clones designed to repopulate the species in the late 21 century (there are actually only 400 of these animals left presently).

Unfortunately, said clones have a racial memory of how mankind nearly wiped them out, and thus, hate humans today. That's why they are so willing to serve vampires and get into fights with farmers and such.

It'd put them as "Natural" Enemies of the dogboys, whom by their nature protect and love humanity.

As for why not included.. might be there has never been a documented attack of wolf on human in the lower 48, and only 3 attacks in alaska, two by pets. People are scared of wolves for 100% no reason what so ever. lol

Sure it should.

This is a Rifts Thread, and AFAIK it only appears in exactly one place in this game, therefore it's obscure (to Rifts anyway; for all I know, in PFRPG there are probably whole pinup books filled cover-to-cover with "Maxim" -type cheesecake photos of the Old Ones.....in Speedos and Thong Bikinis).

Obscure information, Page 41 Bionics sourcebook.

"Cyber-breasts" Which is a bit more than just a **** job. To quote

"These implants serve to keep the breasts firm with out the need of outside support. I.E. Bra, and can also increase and decrease the size of the breast by one cup size, can also 'Mold" the breast to FLATTEN to protect them from damage, or to better fit a particular style of dress or blouse. Extremely popular among women of all ages"

If that weren't enough it later stipulates in the price 'Life like prosthetic breasts with the same features are also available for more credits.

Now if you take a moment, you realize the first description is for like metallic shiny metal robo-boobs that can expand or 'flatten'. And you have to pay 2,000 to 10,000 more for life like 'adjustable' breasts.

Another bit of obscure information. Source Book One, Revised: Page 67.

I some how have managed to totally MISS that the CS has outlawed Wilks weapons. As in all of them. If you're caught with Wilks lasers or what ever, the CS will confiscate them, and at minimum fine you 1,000 to 10,000 credits, if they don't do worse.

While it's not the instant death sentence that Naruni weapons invoke, it's still pretty harsh.

Some how just missed that they out lawed the Wilks stuff.

Yeah all MD weaponry is illegal in the CS unless you are in the military at which point you can walk around armed either in or out of uniform. I BELIEVE that's in R:SB1, rev. or CWC.

No it's not. You can have Northern Gun stuff. It's not all MD weapons. the CS have just upped their trade with Northern Gun and NG Swung the deal with the CS.

Then why do they confiscate them and fine you if you are "carrying a M.D. weapon" when you enter a C.S. city? :-?

the same reason a person carrying a rocket propelled grenade launcher would tend to be picked up by the police today. it's a weapon capable of not only killing people, but blowing up vehicles and buildings as well.
not something you want circulating a community with mostly SDC squishies and where body armor is not considered fashionable daily wear.

Because "IN A CS CITY" is different than "IN THE COALITION STATES"

If I'm not mistaken there's even provision for checking your MD gear when you enter a CS city. I know there is for turning off MD bionic weapons and what not, but yes, there's a difference between 'Having an MD Plasma rifle in a CS city" and "Having a Plasma rifle out in the wilderness where a dragon might try and eat your face"

:ok:

Gotchya! That makes perfect sense to me now. I'd just assumed that CS law only applied to whatever the CS was looking at... at that specific time and what happens in the wilds stays in the wilds.

That's no different than today. Exept today gold is worth about $1600 an ounce (US dollors). http://goldprice.org/gold-price.html

The big difference is on Rifts Ersth it may be harder to find a buyer.

:ok: This was in the back pages of the original Rifts RPG, near the section on Black Market items IIRC.

I would say that in the post apocalyptic world of Rifts all those freakin gold bars and diamonds previously held in storage are now free and roaming the country side.
Not nearly as rare as they previously were.

Theres no global economy. Stockpiling rare items that have little practical value serves no purpose. It wouldnt provide anyone an advantage.

Might be an idea to wait until Rifts: Black Market comes out before you start speaking with such certainty.

There is an economy though, hence the universal Credit. Ask Traix selling guns in North America and the CS sending food to the NGR.

Rare items are still rare. If not even more so. The cities and what not were picked clean in the 200 years of darkness. Finding gold "Now a days" in 109 PA is just as hard if not harder than it is today IRL. 90% of the planet is wilderness. Very few gold mines active out there.

Finding gold is still going to be a rare thing, and rare things cost more.

Grenades are cheaper and easier to get ahold of in Europe.

Found that last night while doing research for a manuscript.
