Palladium Fantasy Second Edition p294. No particular notes on their place in Rifts, but since they're not likely to become MD beings I think you can use the write-up as is.

All gnomes on rifts earth are in the employment of the coalition states and helped build every CS city as well as the CS war machine.

I think actualy all gnomes that come through the portal sadly see titan juicers and think they need to show up all thoose tall races, even with repeted warnings the little guys can help attempt to undergo the treatment, sadly they live long enough to punch a troll or two in the face before they basicly pop.

Gnomes cannot survive on Rifts Earth because they're allergic to the atmosphere.

...

At least that is what they WANT everyone to believe. . . ;)

Nothing official in the books, but between us here, my company's made a tidy profit selling scaled-down high tech gear, well, 'under the table' to a certain segment of the d-bee population. ;)

Yeah, well, gnomes tend to fall through the cracks all too often....that's why a lot of them wear oversized shoes.

Gnomes will feature heavily in Rifts World Book 99: Switzerland.
I'd get up in the morning and watch the sun rise over the yardarm of my sky-ship as the sails billowed in the breeze and the land slid by 300-odd metres below. I'd grasp the mahogany ship's wheel, turn her nose a few points back onto the line, and feel pity for all those poor bastards below who have to work for a living. - My idea of the good life in Rifts.

Gnomes DO become M.D.C. on Rifts Earth, unfortunately the process renders them immobile and they just wind up in gardens.

No troglodytes either...

No; the two species get into HELLACIOUS fistfights(and wrench fights) if they meet. PLus they'll correct you in a second if you confuse them. Makes hiring the two peoples to work on the same project a real exercise in management and peacekeeping(otherwise they just use the resources allocated to the project to build meaner and more clever ways to maim the other guys...imagine 'Robot Wars' without the safety barriers).

Gnomater how you look at it gnome gnome is a good gnome.
The Clones are coming you shall all be replaced, but who is to say you have not been replaced already.

Master of Type-O and the obvios.

I may debate canon and RAW, but the games I run are highly house ruled. So I am not debating for how I play but about how the system works as written.
