Techno-Wizard question

Unread post by SittingBull »

What would a techno-wizard charge, per hour, to make a TW item for someone else?

I would say they would either charge what the item costs in the description (if it has one) or 1.5x to 2x the cost to create it (if there is no listed market price).

I see it being just like an Operator, with additional considerations for the Magic involved.

I also forgot to mention "what would they charge in standard credits".

Icefalcon. Charging the creation cost, roughly plus maybe extra fees, divided by the hours of the item to create might work just right.

I know, I just mean charging the construction cost as the fee is a simple starting point that I didn't think of.

Its ok. There are plenty of things I don't think of until my players blindside me with it.

Sort of depends on the techno wizard and local demand, dosn't it?

in a TW heavy city like Stormspire, there would be a standard rate, with big name technowizards billing extra for their time.

In a medium-ish unnamed city, there might be only one techno-wizard, who will charge whatever he can get away with
