Chat would depend all on timing... video chat would be pretty much out the window.. the only time I'm on the computer is when trying to get my daughter to sleep... videochat at that time would NOT be good thing..

To the ones who are still working on character constructs, please PM me. And tell me what you've decided upon. Life is settling back down some what. Although, I fear it is the calm before the storm both in personal life and business. It's spring time, things mostly tend to pick up for me in the spring and summer.
Okay...I am still waiting on a 3 people to submit their stuff. Before we begin the actual gaming part let me tell you that if you have ideas on ways to improving the game, please post them here so players can vote on them. This is how we do things in my group. New spells, new skills, new rules, etc get a vote!
This style will be new to me, so I don't really have much to add at the moment. But once we start playing there might be something. We'll have to see. Look forward to playing
I sorry, a couple of players have decided not to play. And I was hoping to get 7 + players. Oh well. I can make do with 5.
Everyone who is still wanting to play, except for Goliath Strongarm. Who has already done so.
The starting date is: March 20th...1st day of spring. Roll: 5D4s to determine the size. Then roll 50d100x100 3 times. And tell me the totals. This will determine how man points everyone has to spend on: #1 resources, #2 people (It can be spent on buying "Extra RCC", but I suspect you will be sanking more of it into OCC’s), and #3 places you want.
Now, next question is what zone would you like to be placed in? Temperate, Moderate, Sub-Tropical, or Tropical? And do you want to start anew or rebuild from the ashes of the old city? THERE WILL BE ADVANTAGES AND DISADVANTAGES BOTH OPTIONS! One of the advantages of rebuilding is sewers for most of you. One of the disadvantages is going to be the clean up, finding corpses buried in the rubble, etc.
Each of you that are playing has the option of dong the racial demographics yourselves. But, PLEASE, nothing too "over the top", for example an army of titans (those cost people points!) And faeries and slaves do not count into the total population, which everyone gets 59,820 people rallying to your side.
There are no more wars nor infighting right now. The cities lay in rubble. Most of your main cities have been in a lot of wars, but the is only 1 of you that I had to roll on the natural disaster table for. But unless he says something I'm not saying who.

awww man, i was so looking forward to this game and i know you put alot of backround work into all of this. If this game isnt going to get up and going in its current form do you think you could PM me the backround setup stuff you did do maybe we can find somebody to run this untill your free to do so.
There are way too many notes! However, I can give you guys some good book references.
AD&D 1st Ed. Test of the Warlords...Actually, all of CM series of games were pretty much the "basis" for the game. And when our group ran it, in 1993...we are still playing it. The game hasn't stopped. We are still having a blast with it once a month, although the game has changed systems 3 or 4 times and we killed our characters off and started over so many times!
AD&D 2nd Ed. The Castle Guild...Gives you details to work with and pretty well make your own castle.
King Arthur Pendragon (not sure on the editions) Book of Nobles and Lordly Domains...Full of a lot of good idea.
Judges Guild Castle Book I & II, Village Book I & II. There are more to them then the name would imply.
