Meanwhile, on Earth 666:
Gen. Edwards (GE), sipping coffee: "So, in every reality you've encountered me in, I'm a complete s#!+?"
Multiversal REF Cmdr. Adm. Lisa Hayes (MRCALH): "Yes. Everywhere, everywhen."
GE, looking back and forth between MRCALH and Multiversal REF Vice Adm. Rick Hunter (MRVARH): "I find that hard to believe..."
MRVARH, face hardening: "Really?"
GE: "Yes! Look, Hunter, you chose me to be the REF envoy to the Invid Regent. We wanted a peace treaty!"
MRVARH: "And where you successful?"
GE, angrily: "No! But the cease-fire has held for more than a decade."
MRCALH: "What about your plans to conquer Earth?"
GE: "WHAT PLANS!? *You* chose *me* to command the task force to recon Earth after the Regis arrived! *You* approved my OpsPlan! Hell, I chose Vince Grant as my flag captain at your suggestion! We linked up with Rolf and Anotoli. They had the Masters contained, and we got them off-planet. The truce with the Regis is holding; she and the Regent are bickering like an old married couple. The Reclamation Mission WORKED!!"
MRCALH, looking at MRVARH uneasily: "I think...I think we should check and see if we've gotten a shipment of snowballs recently, dear."
MRVARH, nodding to MRCALH: "Hell may indeed have frozen over. We've discovered the universe where Earth *won.*"

WHAT IF...all the Commanders in Robotech were actually professionals and could actually communicate like real adults?!

   Yes, Hell has frozen over to them to have found a nice Edwards. AND that he helped save the Earth and not try to take it over.

Meanwhile, on Earth 666:
General Edwards (GE), putting down his coffee: "Well, I think we can come to an...understanding."
Lisa Hayes (LH) and Rick Hunter (RH) , looking at each other, telepathically communicating: "And now the weasel shows his true colors!"
GE, smiling nastily: "You'll have to get the approval of President Lang and Prime Minister Rem of the Sentinel Alliance, though. *I'm* not authorized to make treaties with extradimensional entities."
GE, moving to intercom: "Security to General Edwards quarters. I need a tac team with in Dress Whites for Diplomatic Honor Guard duty. We have a First Contact situation here."
GE, switching to All Call: "All Hands, this is General Edwards. We have a First Contact situation in progress. Our guests are humanoid and may look familiar, but they're new to the neighborhood. Contain your curiosity for now.
"Captain Grant, please join me on the bridge. Helm, prepare for best speed to Tirol, at Captain Grant's discretion.
"Maintain Condition Yellow, and we'll get a briefing pulled together shortly. Do me proud, Ghost Squadron. Edwards, clear."
GE, turning back to his guests: "Shall we adjourn to the bridge and start getting your diplomatic credentials in order?"

(Sorry, no dream. Just one little, low probability strand of the multiverse traveling off by itself.)

Excellent work...I'd post it over in the Crossovers thread where we deal with alternate universes, just for proper coverage :D .
This is Bloopers, however much it DOES bleed over, and the emphasis is on FUNNY(although, don't get me wrong, that last couple of lines definitely qualify for 'In-Joke of the Year'. :ok:

Well, anything is possible in the multiverse. Like, there could be a Coaltion out there that likes D-Bees.

Exactly.

Though I've always wondered, if Rick and Lisa HAD rescued Edwards from the Grand Cannon, whether or not they would be better off...An overly grateful Edwards could be, his own way, even more dangerous to their sanity than vengeful Edwards was to their lives.

"Edwards, don't get me wrong...I know Senator Bono was being an obstructionist arse on the Tirol Expedition plans, but...you didn't have anything to do with his ...ah...'accident'?"
"Who, me?" :demon:

Man, you got that right.

"Edwards?"
"Yes, Admiral?"
"You're being...helpy again."
"Blast! Sorry, Sir. I'm new to this whole "helpful" thing, and it takes some practice."
"Right...better luck next time, General."
"Yes, Sir. Thank you, Sir."

(For those who aren't parents, "helpy" is defined as the assistance rendered by your 2-year-old in preparing dinner. On a deadline. For your mother-in-law.)

Meanwhile on the SDF-1's mess hall...

Max: *Sigh*
Rick: What's troubling you Max?
Max: You know I'm one of the top pilots here, right?
Rick: That's undisputed. Hell you even beat Roy in kills.
Max: And you know that I always go to the arcade and play those VF sim's.
Rick: You always beat the machine and players that challenge in those every time.
Max: .....
Rick: Someone actually beat you?
Max: Yeah, and guess who it is.
Rick: Miriya?
Max: No, still 25-0 for her.
Rick: ... Did a kid beat you?
Max: Minmei's cousin Jason.
Rick: Huh, you're taking this pretty hard aren't you?
Max: Beat me in one min. flat. In all my time playing that game or flying I have NEVER seen anyone pull off those moves the way he did.
Rick: All this over a game?
Max: Oh it's no game, the arcade manager actually got real flight sims from the military. No this is the real deal here.
Rick: ...I find that hard to believe.
Max: Go see for yourself. He's still there kicking the boys in wolf squadron right now.

30 min. later....

Rick: Good god that kid's taking no prisoners.
Max: I know, Right?
Jason: Next!

I presume you're talking about Sammy? Yeah, Khyron hears that a lot. He's cool enough to take it in stride, but he also makes sure the home security system is armed at night when they turn in.

Several desperate individuals open a heavily secured door, enter and close it behind them.

SRoss: "We'll just hide here until the heat dies down."

Sailor(s) Pluto: :x :x :x "YOU!!!" :x :x :x

Fourth Wall Gang: "   "

The camera pulls back to the sound of rumbling, crashing and screams, as the Sailor(s) Pluto exorcise there demons with extreme brutality.
