The stuff at Tsunami is really fantastic, I think it could be fleshed out a little more but I am very impressed. Whoever did it should really be proud of themselves! :D

its unlikely to be fleshed out. His last update was the summer of 1999.

I did a lot of modifying to his gear as well. The bullet guns had too much range. And the disc guns that can penetrate armor make no sense in the context of Rifts as its currently presented.

Love the pics too.. I ignore the stats completely (I'm wary of most fan sites.)

Like I said, you'd have to do some adjusting. His damage is a little high, range is high, and some of the special effects are out of whack.

I think those damage values can not be called high anymore and most of the listed weapon ranges are average at best (as long as we speak of the Tsunami Arms weapons). You can find canon examples for much better guns (even some ramjet guns, like the cheap and long range WI-SR15, win against almost all guns listed on the Tsunami Arms page). However, the weights listed under some guns are a little low.

Got an example of what you are talking about for damage/range being to high? I just skimmed through a few pages and didn't see anything that stood out as too good. If anything most were to me either average or unimpressive.

Like I said, its mostly the bullets, especially the 12mm and 15mm. They arent nuclear powered rail guns nor are they rocket assisted ramjets, they are just tiny explosive regular bullets. But they have insane range for their caliber.

Some of the specialty weapons have a very high chance of penetrating even the heaviest of armors and doing mega-damage to the person inside. Thats very out of balance compared to most things in the official books.

the normal rifles fire 1000ft, which in game is about normal, and IRL a bit below average.
the large calibre ones go to 1600ft.. about normal for what is basically a heavy mnachinegun round. IRL its pathetically short (a 12.5mm/.50cal round can go 2-3 miles IRL)

Thats NOT the effective range for hitting a target.
And thats what the Effective Range stat means in all the gun listings.

the M16 has an effective range IRL (the range at which it can hit a point target) of 550 meters.. or 1804.48 feet. against an area target, its 800 meters/2624.67 feet.

the AK-47 has a point target effective range of 400 meter/1312.34 feet in single shot, 300 meters/984.252 feet in full auto. (couldn't find a area target range, but likely would be higher)

the G36 has a 800 meter/2624.67 foot effective range.

the M2 Browning .50cal machinegun has an effective range of 1800 meters/5905.512 feet

palladium's stats grossly underrate the effective range of conventional weapons.
