So I was asked a question by a player that was creating a new character and I could not find the answer in the book...
Does one get all the skill slots listed for both primary and secondary MOS's or just the slots for the primary MOS with the secondary MOS just allowing a wider range of available skills rather than also providing many more skill slots?

Re: Question about skill allocation
The Primary MOS is the number of skill slots. The Secondary MOS allows for a wider selection of skills, not more skill slots.

Thank you for the confirmation. That's what I thought.

Re: Question about skill allocation
I was wondering the same thing. Thanks for the clarification. So, that means that all PC have 10 skills maximum, don't they?

Re: Question about skill allocation
All characters get Assault Rifle, Grenade Throwing, Climbing and Basic Infantry.
Then you get two MOS.
The primary MOS determines the character's number of starting skills. The secondary MOS is the character's 'back-up' specialty. They all equal 10 MOS skills + the 4 Basic Training skills = 14 by the book.
