In the confusion Lisa was first grabbed by White Apes, then by warriors from one of the city states. Rick was dispatched to get her, but was shot down when the Red Martians attacked the Macross. He continued his mission on foot and after some adventures, he and Lisa returned in a Heliumite flyer.

I thought you were go to mention his behavior when he visited Moon Base. In the military, would an inspecting officer, ask a base Commander, even if she's only a Lieutenant, to get him a coffee? Isn't that something you'd ask a Corporal to do?

There sitting in the middle of the debriefing room alone on a single chair, calm and collected on the outside but nerved wrecked in his mind. There before him sits Captain Gloval, Lisa, Claudia, and other officers. There witnessing are Rick, Max, and Ben.

Gloval: "Lt. Fokker it has come to our attention that for the past 4 engagements you have had radio silence, and that you where not receiving, nor acting upon orders. Not only that, but you also go off on your own engaging the enemy while doing unnecessary stunts. Care to explain this?"

Roy: "Uh... my radio wasn't working, and I had to dodge incoming fire?"

Gloval: "For the past 4 battles?"

Roy: "....Yes?"

Gloval: *sigh* "I was hoping you would be honest with us Lt. Fokker, but it looks like we have no choice. Lisa."

Lisa: "Yes sir." *Presses a button on a laptop. The room dims and a projector appears.*

Lisa: "Before the last battle we had our techs install a video and audio surveillance system within Lt. Fokker's cockpit."

Roy: "Oh no."

Lisa: "We will now review the footage." *recording begins*

*Roy enters the cockpit. As the canopy closes he immediately shuts off the com relay. He then reaches to the side and from a hidden compartment takes out a set of speakers, and an Ipod.*

Everyone:

Roy: "oh god"

Rick: *Facepalms* "It's the flying circus all over again."

Everyone just stares at Roy as he in the recording starts singing it off key.

This is 'Robotech-as-Filmed-Live' Khyron, where he's really a (giant) actor who's married to Sammie, has kids(who have pretty much cornered the anime market for pale-skinned white/blue-haired actresses and maybe even actors if you want to make NGE's Kawaru Khyron's son), and is a great humanitarian and all-around nice guy.
His Bloopers contract clause states that every time he gets humiliated, beaten down, or otherwise dis'ed in-thread, Harmony Gold has to pay a fee to charity, so he really doesn't mind playing the role of butmonkey at all.
He also helped bankroll Grel's first business venture(Grel paid him back in good time), and is godfather to Geraro's kids.

In the same general idea, Lynn Kyle is also an actor, but is studying to become a Catholic priest(much to his parents' objections, since they thought he'd do better following the family faith and training to become a rabbi), but he's less enthused about playing punching bag(possibly because he got less of a good contract deal than Khyron). Still, it pays his bills.

T.R. Edwards really thinks he IS T.R. Edwards, and like Karno, doesn't understand this talk of 'contracts' and 'employment clauses'.
Karno can't understand why the Tirolian All-Media Actors' Guild refuses to have anything to do with him, and made him the only exception to the 'no scabs' clause in their union contract with the studios, since they KNOW he doesn't pose a credible threat to their jobs.
