Cosmo-Knight help, Stated/geared out NPCs?
Might someone be willing to post some stated/skilled/geared out Cosmo-knights for NPC fodder or something?
Re: Cosmo-Knight help, Stated/geared out NPCs?
Hm, like ones of our own creation... ? I don't have any at the moment, but I'd like to see that too.
Re: Cosmo-Knight help, Stated/geared out NPCs?
Yep, i was interested in how others would write up a cosmo-knight. I am having trouble with my own and was hoping for some comparison material and possible npc stuff.
Sure, show us some cosmo knights.

Has anyone ever played a Cosmo Knight and could post their PC for reference, perhaps?

I npc him with sharpshooting in shield n cosmic blasts.
Dodge free blast attack and ricochet sgield action. Both really bring the character to life.

Rifts main book.
A required weapon proficiency to use natural energy blasts.
Sharpshooter is in the conversion book.
Since niether is allowed, I used 3 skill slots per Equals one sharpshooter ability then additional sharpshooter abilities can be purchased For skill slots only.

RMBp34's note before HtH isn't a WP skill though =/ So I don't think you can do paired WP with it anymore than you can do paired WP with punch+sword or punch+punch.
Here's an alternative: get 2 cosmic weapons, make one in the shape of an energy pistol, use WP Energy Pistol, then buy paired Pistol/Shield.
Although I'm still not sure if that's legal since RUEp327's pairedWP skill is under 'ancient', kind of implying it is for ancient WPs not for modern ones.
Considering that cosmo-knights have weapons that do huge damage (even higher than their energy blast in the first 2 levels if they buy a dmg boost) perhaps make 2 shields, buy WP blunt, WP shield and paired WP, buy damage boost on 1 shield and force field on the other, then when attacked do a simultaneous parry (with force-shield) + strike (via throw if long range) with the damage-shield.

It isn't anymore than there is a W.P. Burst or W.P. Shooting Wild.
There is precedent for a W.P. for natural abilities in the HU GMs guide, though even there its a special skill that applies to one specific super power per skill. Which in fact suggests that you can't take a generic proficiency if you have to take specialized ones for each energy expulsion power.........
The rules are not a bludgeon with which to hammer a character into a game. They are a guide to how a group of friends can get together to weave a collective story that entertains everyone involved. We forget that at our peril.
