Vehicles for Supernatural Beings
Does anyone know if their is any type of vehicle or armor that can accommodate a supernatural being between 8 to 15 feet and 1 to 1.5 tons in weight?
Re: Vehicles for Supernatural Beings
There's a 12 ft D-Bee (heroes unlimited alien, not supernatural being though) named Mii-Tar on page 112 of Rifts Vampire Kingdoms who is able to pilot a Titan TR-002 exploration and light combat bot.
He only weights 940 pounds, but the bot weighs 17.6 tons and can normally carry 5 people so a single 1.5 ton (3000 pounds?) isn't impossible to imagine.
A Wilk's Jet Pack can also carry him, but at 60mph instead of 120mph due to his bulk.
I'm not sure if that's meant to be his weight or his actual width since he would create more are resistance than a narrower person. Perhaps both.

Armor: this came up recently in another thread
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=152195
Vehicles:
As a Passenger? Probably a good many if you don't mind riding in the cargo hold (if a vehicle can transport Power Armor, good chance it can handle an 8-15fter).
As a Driver? That's a bit more difficult, but examples exist for the size:
-Borgs have vehicles marketed to them (I want to say WB10 Juicer Uprising has an example or two), so weight size should be covered
-You could try and get a Pogtailian Power Armor Suit (SA1 IIRC), these guys are giants so their PA is "giant sized" (off hand I forget their exact size range)
-Mercenaries (IIRC) has a giant NPC operating a suit of customized power armor
-Atlantis Minion races come in the required size, so that would be an option (WB2, and WB21 would be good choices to look).

There's a few armors made for giant sized PC's. the Potgul dragon slayer armor comes to mind as the earliest but there are others.
as for vehicles, honestly most APC's and large vehicles can accomadate beings that size, a few might need them to scrunch uncomfortably though.

1. As Nekira said, the Dragon Skin Armor that Pogtals use is good.
2. Build a giant MDC bicycle.

I would think the vehicle would need to be sufficient size and the controls would need to be modified in the controls to the scale of the rider. Some might go for open vehicles such as buggies or modified over sized bikes.
Given that races like gurgoles and brodkill use tech some times and you also have classes such as borgs and titan juicers there would be some demand for such vehicles.
Many might ride large animals such as furry beatles.

I may debate canon and RAW, but the games I run are highly house ruled. So I am not debating for how I play but about how the system works as written.

FURY BEETLES.
"Furry Beatles" would be an English rock band with a fetish for anthropomorphic animals.

Jet packs? Or maybe even Contra-grav packs? You're probably gonna have to be passenger most of the time.
I think hovercycles might work if they're big enough. I don't really think it's the matter of weight as it is the use of controls and the size of the person. Otherwise you might end up looking like Johnny Bravo on his little scooter.
I want to convince my GM to get me a mammoth or something for my giant.

Well the beetle(hairy or not) mentioned above would work as will a large herbivore dinosaur such a long neck.

Most military APC would likely be able to do so at least any rated for power armor transport which is a lot of them. That size is basically the same as most power armor and most APC transports list how many power armor troops they can carry.

well, on the 8 foot tall end of the scale, sure. i'm not so certain that "it can fit power armour" should be assumed to include 15 foot tall humanoids i don't think even the ulti-max or glitter boy are 15 feet, and those are considered borderline robot vehicles.

Well a Glitterboy is 10ft 5inches, but an Ulti-max comes it at 16-20ft depending on where you want to stop counting, a CS Glitterboy Killer comes in at 14ft. Though most Power Armor come in at under 10ft, with the next largest majority going up to 12ft, but there are some that go larger (ignoring power armor intended for giants).
However, it maybe uncomfortable (or even undignified), but as a passenger even a 15ft has options to squeeze in to a power armor bay intended for 10ft-ers. They could hunch over, kneel, crawl on all fours (1/2-1/3 height), lay on their back/side (then it becomes an issue of length), curl up into a ball (1/2 height), etc. 15ft isn't as hard to work with as say a 30ft-er (or bigger, luckily those types of giants aren't common for Palladium).

Most NG APC would be sized for Samson transport and samsons are on the larger size for power armor they are I think a foot or two taller than glitter boys. Sure it may not be copious amounts of head room but if the vehicle can fit power armor the vehicle could fit somebody in that size range. They would probably have to duck if they are on the taller end of the spectrum but otherwise it should be plenty of roomy for them.

Forgot about those!
Page 116 of NGR has a 9ft tall 3200 pound cyborg able to fly using the T-100 Eagle jet pack, so that's more than 1.5 tons (a ton is 2000 right?)
They go half speed due to weight and size... 9 is on the lower end of 8 to 15. It's possible a 15 ft thing might go slower due to more surface area to create wind drag
