Anybody got Actual Play on Snake Style and Tien-Hsueh?

Anybody got any Actual Play report on Snake Style and Tien-Hsueh?

I'm looking at crafting an repentant anti-hero, and I'd love to hear how these played out in real life. I plan on using some physical skills to bolster the hand-to-hand abilities, but those will only go so far when bolted onto an MAF.

hard to know how to play snake style since their 'direct to HP' chi thing remains a bit obscure

like for example I don't know if that means a direct2hp upgrade for an existing chi ability that does SDC damage, or creating a unique damaging capacity even if you lack a baseline damaging power

Tien-Hsueh comes with it's own, "Whither Dim Mak?" problems, though. Too bad Revised never receive errata. There's so much potential there.

And I stand corrected.

If Mystic China martial arts are considered the updated versions of N&SS martial arts, the Dim Mak problems are corrected in Mystic China.

Summarizing by the numbers:
TIEN-HSUEH (N&SS)
2 total attacks/melee
4 total doubling of chi
5 total from Arts of Invisibility, Atemi, and/or Chi Mastery
4 total from Zenjorike

TIEN-HSUEH (MC)
2 total attacks/melee
4 total doubling of chi
5 total from Arts of Invisibility, Atemi, and/or Chi Mastery
4 total from Zenjorike OR Long-Distance Dim Mak and/or 6 Atemi

SNAKE STYLE (N&SS)
4 total attacks/melee
4 total doubling of chi
4 total from Arts of Invisibility and/or Chi Mastery
4 total from Zenjorike

SNAKE STYLE (MC)
4 total attacks/melee
4 total doubling of chi
4 total from Arts of Invisibility and/or Chi Mastery
4 total from Zenjorike

By these numbers, Tien-Hsueh from Mystic China is the way to go. Look at all those possible Atemi abilities!
