Seeing how it took me twelve-years to get a copy of Recon. Yeah.

MACV-SOG in N&SS? Sounds pretty kick ass. Would love to hear more.

I'm still here. I had a small group in Denver, but we stopped about a year ago.
"The impossibility of the world lies in the fact that it has no equivalent anywhere;it cannot be exchanged for anything. The uncertainty of thought lies in the fact that it cannot be exchanged either for truth or for reality. Is it thought which tips the world over into uncertainty, or the other way around? This in itself is part of the uncertainty." - J. Baudrillard

So, back in August, '91, I asked the local comic-shop owner (they sold RPG and I first saw Recon, there), if he could order Recon, for me. He wrote it down, but every time I checked with him, he never ordered it.

Lately, I've been reading up on The Price of Freedom, which is a great concept, but I don't understand the rules.

I've got Cyberpunk, 2020, and there's enough material under, "Old Weapons", in which I can run a good Vietnam-style war-game with Friday Night Fire Fight rules and Maximum-Metal rules. I like Cyberpunk's rule-system; it's easy and I understand it.

I have used NSS to run all different genres to include Recon, Cyberpunk, Batman, and Anime stuff. It does involve some house rules and a willing group.
