Alternatives of the Remove Heart Spell

Unread post by darthauthor »

Mystic China Book refers to spells that can remove other organs.

I had some ideas and wanted some feedback as a sort of reality check.

Remove Lungs (White crystal) grants them the effects of "Breathe without Air" permanently.

Remove Liver (Blue crystal) grants immunity to poison

Remove Spleen (Yellow crystal) grants immunity to disease.

Remove Kidneys (Black crystal) grants regeneration 1d6 Hit Points / S.D.C. per hour

Remove Lungs would grant Breath w/o Breathable air, if anything at all.
The Why: Breath w/o Air protects the user from vacuum environments. Just removing the lungs would protect the target from a vacuum. The crystal would need to be placed in a space with good ventilation for it to grant Breath w/o Breathable air.

Yes I know there is no spell named "Breath w/o Breathable air". So you'd have to make it up. The spell creation rules: modern: are in the NB: Through the glass darkly book, & Fantasy: are in the PF2 Mysteries of Magic book 1.

The others you mentioned....I wouldn't have them give 'immunity', just resistance.

Removing Kidneys would give a resistance to fatigue.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.

Thanks drewkitty,

I agree with your take on, "Removing Kidneys would give a resistance to fatigue."
