It was fun to write because I knew it had no resemblance to real world martial arts so I could go full satire with it. I admit I imagined both Scrat from the Ice Age franchise and Rincewind from Discworld as inspirations.

No. Reverse engineering is just using exisiting skills to analyze something. You can't just have one skill to replace dozens of others. That's not how it works.
