Actually they have a much better chance with the new Battlestar Galatica, the New Cylons are Mechanoids. Same history, same creation story, same organic brains in mechanical bodies. Infact the new human cylons could be from the Archie/Mechanoid storyline.

I was actually going to post a seperate thread on this. As soon as I saw that blood/organic goo, I thought the Cyclons are Mechanoids...cool!
