Off the top of my head...CS Military Specialist (and Triax equivalent), or Special Forces from Mercenaries.

They have Karmic Power, not Charmic power.
Basically they permantly have luck on their side.
Game effect, they get a bunch of bonuses and deprive any opponents of thier bonuses and can give their allies increased bonuses and inflict negatives on their enemies.
The power only works as long as the CB adheres to his code, but since his code was written by a group of Bounty Hunters, there's a lot of things they can get away with.
I put the Chior Boy on par with a Cyber-Knight or a Juicer or similar super-powered but not naturally MDC warriors.

the Bloodhood Adherent AKA Choir Boy (not that you would want to call them that to their face) are the Bounty hunters that cross Terran Monk with Chiropti Warrior codes. They have Karmic power and as Jeffar said it aids them greatly, but there are a few things they won't allow when they are apart of a bounty hunting team.
The Zone Boy is the one that gets random super abilities. Though I could see the SIM also possesing a minor Super power.

Personally, I was going by the fact that the Special Forces style soldiers tend to be the most "all around" and able to cope with the broadest variety of situtions.

Well the Choir Boy is like a Special Forces Trooper, but he also has powers that turn his opposition into the Keystone cops.

one thing I find most peopel overlook.
the powers and bonuses from karmic power ONLY apply to when "the cause is good and just"
meaning it dose NOT work in most fights. only when there is a MAJOR fight between good and evil going on.
collecting bounties dosn't qualify.

most of the races and classes in that are good stuff...
I liked the book as well, but some of the OCCS and equipment seemed alittle incomplete.

I got the impression that the Choir Boy was a special case. As long as he followed the letter and spirit of his code the karmic power will remain in effect, even if he is an evil character collecting a bounty on a good character.

I don't. Karmic Power is Karmic Power.
in the absence of it stating specifically, they have all the normal weaknesses.

to be honest my real problem with it is it's so unbelivably powerful. I have no problems with the bonuses, it's the fact that it negates ALL of the opponets bonuses from ANY source that makes it so unreasonable.
so i'm VERY harsh on when it does or does not kick in.

if Karmic power only kicks in in major battles of good and evil,
then it's a matter of defining major battles...
the impression i got was of greater good...
the choirboy works in an organization oriented towards maintainging the greater good of the universe...
they didn't collect bounties on bail jumpers, and scum that would hardly warrent the attention of the local police...
they went after major threats to the universe...
serious criminals who would continue making the universe a hard place to live in...
basically, the choirboy is a self-proclaimed palladin of the universe,
Manhunter's cosmo knights...
thus if they were told "go bring this guy in" even if they might not understand the overall impact of the bounty, they would know (as would the universe) that it was important to bring him in...
this would/could also lead to story arc's where the choirboy realizes at some point that bringing in a bounty is costing him his Karma, and thus sets him to seek out what the correct line of action is, and why the bloodhood would endanger his place in the universe for some false goal...

hey, if you want to play it that way, go right ahead.
but here's a brainbender for you.
it's discribed as part of the ongoing battle between good and evil, an equalizer of sorts.
dosn't that mean that, in order to maintain the balance. . .somewhere out there there has to be a polar opposite power?

yeap...
theoretically...
in one campeign i actually had an evil NPC with karmic power for evil... tho, different reason... he was an artificial human with the ability to calculate all possible outcomes of a situation...
thus Probability Calculation allowed him the same boni as Karmic Power without morality problems... but he was also pre-programmed with a code of honor and the like to compensate...

IMO there is a karmic power for evil so and so's. i would NOT have one for selfish alignments.
so just reverse bonuses for karmic power for evil alignments. it effects good alignment & good actions in the same way that good karmic power effects evil alignment/evil actions
