The Minotaur
Just curious, do any of the HU books ever go into this character more elaborately than the allusions to him in Gramercy Island? I have Century Station, Gramercy Island, the Main book and the GM's Guide, but i don't recall seeing actual stats or concrete info on this character in any of them. Then again, that could easily be intentional... does anyone know for sure though? Thanks

Hey there's an idea!
Damn ICE/BCP/BorderPatrol! Damn everyone who won’t damn ICE/BCP/Border Patrol!! Damn everyone that won’t put lights in his windows and sit up all night damning CE/BCP/BorderPatrol!!!
If you support ICE/BCP/BorderPatrol at this point, you would have called the Gestapo on the people surreptitiously moving into your neighbor's attic and huffed that you were only following the law.

Not any stats on him. He's this urban legendary kind of critter. Nobody has seen him, nobody knows him. Just the elite of the underworld know of him. Villians think they're working for him, but only know the guy who they take orders from. That kind of thing.
We played a long long game in which he was a central figure. Was always positive he was out there, but never actually saw him. Continually two steps ahead and always just out of sight. Though I did sneak into what I think was his bathroom. Gold on the fawcets and the TP was plush...

I hadn't actually used the character The Minotaur, although I did write up a character sheet for him.
I saw the Minotaur as a criminal genius, who used a very handsome front man, although he himself was replusive (and thus bitter). I gave him an IQ of 21, with an education of Masters' Degree. I set him as a 7th level character. The direction of my campaign however went in a different direction, and I didn't get to use him.

I kind of like the idea of him just being a mundane human. I don't know why but theres something interesting to me about a normal everyday person manipulating the lives of super beings and world events. Sort of like the kingpin, though i'm not sure if you'd consider his tremendous bulk to be a power or not... and from what little i've read, i think the minotaur would be pretty high level... but what do i know really...later

I had an image of a Capitalist Entrepenuer from Mystic China, with a way high IQ, and plain looks. No other real powers: lots of front men.

I would post a few ideas about the guy, but Spectre is one of my players so... Anyway, in answer to your question, no book I've seen gives concrete stats on him/her/it. I think this is definitely intentional so the GM can create their own version. By the way, if you want to hear a few of my ideas, I'll email them to you (prying eyes everywhere man).

I did a campaign series where the alternates of the players came over across parallel dimensions.
Basically, they were heroes, but they were from a world of totalitarian rule.
I used my copies of the PCs' sheets, and made them with a couple of subtle changes in powers, skills, and special abilities (in one case, I had to totally change the character: the magic using PC did not have an equivalent).
It took a couple of battles and sessions for the PCs to recognise them for what they were, but they each got to see a darker side of themselves, and each other as I played them.
