Rifts is not any of the other Palladium worlds, it just shares simularities with all of them.

According to the Rifts Conversion Book (first printing, before it became CB1), pg 37, KS says that he views BtS as Rifts past.

He, changed his mind and said it wasn't in Rifter #2.
