I tried not to destroy too much else, and my attempts to kill off Josh's home town in my book about Arizona were fruitless.

Yeah, kinda hard to destroy a New York town in a book about Arizona, isn't it?

Vampires aren't above allying themselves with non-vampires.

Look in Vampire Kingdoms: there are Brodkil and Neuron Beasts that have allied themselves to certain kingdoms.

Neuron Beasts are evil! greatly underused?

though as always CJC did try to bring them to the forefront in Pantheons book.

brodkils won't be equal partners with Vamps. Vamps as presented will take charge of any alliance.

maybe an atlantean clan, wanting to take on Splugorth.

The atlanteans hate vamps more than they hate the Sploogs, so that would be a twistedly evil (and VERY interesting) group of True Atlanteans.

Everyone is going to be really disappointed when they get the book and realize that for the last thirty pages, Jason wrote nothing but the word "filler" over and over again.

Yes.

As far as vampire info, some things that I've been wanting for a long time:
1. Rules for waterproof clothing (leather, plastic, etc.) getting an Armor Rating against squirtguns and water attacks.
2. Updated vampire stats to compensate for the Two Attacks for Living.
3. Rules for vampires attacking in wolf or bat form. Ideally, they should inflict MD to supernatural creatures and SDC to other targets... instead of just the SDC damage they inflict now.

That's not the type of thing that you'll see in Arzno, though. It's a sourcebook, and I didn't feel it was right to update or alter source material already found throughout other books. Everything is true to printed canon, or at least as close as I could manage (I'm sure I missed something somewhere).

As for AR for water-proof clothing... I just could never bear to put a vampire in a slicker, so it never came up. :P

You don't have to. Most modern vampires seem to prefer trench coats, and leather and/or rubber clothing. A skintight leather bodysuit on a female vampire is stylish and functional if it keeps the water off....

The Rifter articles give you a good idea of what to expect in this department. I went deeper into it, but followed the same school of thought as previously published.

Huh?

When the Vampire Kingdoms book was originally written, your average vampire had 5 attacks per melee. That was, at the time, as fast as a Juicer with boxing.
In later books, KS decided to add an extra two attack per melee to any characters with HTH skills... so now a character with HTH Basic and Boxing gets 5 attacks per melee.
But vampires STILL only get 5.

It covers Arzno, and the vampire incursion. :D

It's got lots of goodies. Vampires and info on that crowd, new monsters/animals, O.C.C.'s, and some deliciously evil allies to the vampires. New TW stuff as well.

That should go without saying; if Kevin said otherwise -as you contend that he did -I don't know why. Perhaps he forgot his own Rules.

Even non-Supernatural P.S. Faerie Folk, as Creatures of Magic, automatically inflict the approprite Damage Type to the appropriate SUpernatural Creature; Demons for one are said to be able to do the same thing in hand-to-hand.

I don't personally see any reason why True Supernatural Creatures like Vampires should be exempted from this.

And speaking of hometowns, what became of Louisville, KY?

Louisville is actually described in the federation of magic book. Alot of supernatural creatures live there in the ruins of the city. Check it out.

There are rules for them doing MD in HTH combat, and with their vampire bite... just none for them doing that kind of damage in animal form.

One would hope... Armored Personnel Carriers in the stony desert of Arizona? A street bike for scouting missions? The most boring TW armor ever? Weapon Mage O.C.C.? What on earth was I thinking?

I think it's much improved.

Armored Personnel Carriers in the stony desert of Arizona?

not all that stony really, and the Army's Training ground in Nevada/southern California is worse....and they routinely hold wargames there with APC's, tanks, IFV's, ect.

A street bike for scouting missions?
worked in WW1 and 2
though a dirtbike would make more sense. then again, in the RMB the offroad bike was a motor scooter, and the city only bike was a Hog.....

Weapon Mage O.C.C.?
hey, i liked the weapon mage! :)

What on earth was I thinking?

for this, i'll need a gallon of Psi-Cola......
