"Word smith" 400xp get a PC killed because you weren't backing them up when they thought you were.
E.g.:
You: the GM said there is only one Kaidian it shouldn't be a problem for us. LET'S GET HIM.
Other guy: Yeah, we charge in there (you gesture to the GM that you are not) and I attack.

Umm that should be negative exp as it is as tk is something that does not need to be incoraged.

Are you lecturing me he who gives points for causing a situation that could very easily cause the same thing? Leroy Jenkins in any iteration should be negative points. Also you didn't say anything about "They were like that when I got here". So chill.

1 No I am not lecturing I merely made a statement.
2 What made me say something was the insanely large amount of xp you want to reward some one for intently killing another player.
3 Mine did not require killing some one, and some classes/players favor melee.
4 they where like that when I got here, requires it to be an accident.

If we're gonna do it this way anything that is stupid or result in hurt feelings should be avoided. Where did it say the achievements were supposed to encourage good RP behavior?

No where the idea is for them to be something for fun.
I never said not have it I just stated my opinion those should be negative xp. There are already several in the thread that have negative xp.


"oh shiny." -5 xp spent most the game playing with your phone and not paying attention to the game.
"I thought you where a tree." -5 xp PC while drunk or under the influence urinates on another PC.
"Why yes I am a pervert." 5 xp go in to battle wearing panties, boxers, briefs, bra or other undergarments on your head.
"Closet pervert" 5 xp pass a note to the GM telling him you are going to spend more than 1000 cr on porn.
"Food fight." 10xp use food as a weapon. 50 xp if you kill a foe with food.
"I killed a gazebo." -10 xp mistake a building for a monster.
"I will stay here"" 10 xp mistake a monster for a building.
"Traitor of gammers" -50 xp but +50 to relationship level, leave mid game to be with your significant other.
"What where we doing again." 5xp make no progress towards the mission/quest for over half the session.
"gnid" -100 xp loose a level to negative xp.

"I am the law" 5xp for appropriately using a Sylvester Stallone quote. (+10 xp if said in cheesy Sly impersonation)

"Muscles from Brussels" 10 xp for defeating a major foe with only kick attacks (+15 xp if wearing kick boxing attire).

"Van Dammit!" 20xp for appropriately using a Jean Claude Van Damme quote in character (much harder to do) (+10 xp if said in cheesy Van Damme impersonation)

"The Bearded Ninja" 15 xp for defeating a major foe with only round house kicks (+40xp if wearing cowboy boots and or cowboy hat, +50xp if your character also has a beard)

"The Texas Ranger" 10 xp for appropriately using a Chuck Norris Fact in character. (+10 if not in an appropriate context, because Chuck Norris is always a relevant fact)

"Yippee Kye Yay" 15xp for defeating a major foe with improvised or scrounged weapons when you started with none at the beginning of the adventure. (+20 if your character started without shoes or losses his shoes during said adventure).

"McBain" 5xp for appropriately using a Bruce Willis quote. (+10 xp if said with a typical sarcastic Bruce Willis impersonation)

"The Expendables" +10xp group award for a team suicide mission that ends with only minor damage to characters and near or total destruction of the enemy forces, base, and escape vehicles. (+5xp for each knife thrown, excessive use of explosives, and 1 on 1 duel with a major for or lieutenant of the main bad guy)

"WHAT Observer Effect?"----50 xp. Enter and explore an alien environment(Xiticix hive, alien spacecraft, new planet/dimension) solely for the purpose of gathering information and leave it without destroying or taking anything.

"Death By Game God"---- -100 xp. Troll the GM so badly s/he changes the game plan specifically to eliminate your character, offers the other players extra Achievement XP for killing your character, and confiscates your character sheets, then destroys them in front of you.
