Yea that would be a really good string for searching.

'Gibberish' or 'Type'?

And since everybody else in this little business of ours is asking, what would people like to see next?
If nothing else, I can get to work on it, and while procrastinating on it, finish up five or six other WIPs that have been taunting my inability to finish them for MONTHS, if not years... :frust: :D

Type. You could just type up such a list:

PS-LT-47 ONOTOS II : Fire support vehicle
PS-AA/AP-AFV32 : Medium tank
PS-CEV-U/I-18 : Combat engineering vehicle

Then we could just highlight and copy, for example, AP-AFV32 and then paste it into the search field and we find the post with this vehicle. :)

Seems there's a Pocket Universe called the 'Arsenal Dimension' where all the folks run out of business by Naruni Enterprises hide out, along with anybody else looking to sell their wares away from the cut-throat competition of the Big Boys....maybe the 'Arsenal Dimension Wiki' has some merit?

You can get the URL to individual posts by hovering mouse over the specific post's title. Or in my theme I have little document icons which allow me to see the URL. Usually you can right click on the title or the document to get "open in new window". Then you can just grab the URL out of that location bar and paste in into your document.

For example, this goes to a specific post:
viewtopic.php?p=2046894#p2046894

Same specific post

ok, here's what i've got. the only sort of 'order' it's in is in order of how it was posted.

incidentally, i *still* don't see your PSA-10 (pikeman?) power armor. perhaps it was around before the merge and didn't get merged in? (if you can find the thread, i'll just link to that, i suppose)

(hmmmmm... i can't post more than 50 URLs per post... not sure how i should handle this... was thinking you could quote me and then just load them all into the first post, but now that won't work... how would you feel about a separate PS index thread?)

alternately, if you'd prefer you could probably edit in a single link to a new post with the URLs for all the current PS stuff...

Here's the reposted Pikeman, just for convenience's sake... :D

Paladin Steel PSPA-10 ‘Pikeman’ Medium Power Armor
“The PSA-10’s about as basic as Paladin Steel manufactures in the power armor department. A lot of people look at it and scoff because it has nothing like the catalogue of special equipment available to it like the P-11 and P-12, but that’s because it doesn’t NEED them...It’s a grunt-suit, which means it can pretty much use whatever is standard issue, or scrounged off the battlefield.
Furthermore, because it’s so light, it’s not constrained by the same design specs as the bigger boys; that means PS can remanufacture everything outside the exoframe to suit what the buyer wants....I can tell you of eight-ten power suit designs out there that look nothing alike, but are really cosmetic jobs built by Paladin Steel on PSA-10 frames...Same armor, different looks, but everybody’s happy they got ‘their’ personal war-armors.”

The PS-PA-10 was Paladin Steel’s effort to produce a light, cheap,few-frills, power armor for general infantry use. The PSA-10 project proceeded in parallel with PS’s PSPSA-11 as a back-up to any possible problems with the development of that modular power armor.
The PSA-10 was based on a reverse-engineering of the Coalition PA-06A SAMAS exoarmor, without the flight capabilities and bulky flight pack, saving on development and time costs. Work on the PSA-10 project was actually completed BEFORE the PSA-11 was first prototyped, but as PS had already decided that the latter showed more long-term promise, the PSA-10 was kept in the wings as an understudy to the more ambitious design.
Though the PSA-11 would be introduced without problems, and would go on to become Paladin Steel’s and the GNE’s biggest power armor line, development work on the PSA-10 continued, though production was temporarily shelved to allow resource allocation to other projects. However, as the GNE has expanded and more production facilities have been constructed, a need was seen in the greatly expanded military forces for a low-end infantry power armor that could be easily fielded and operated. The PSA-11 had proven almost TOO successful, and had ballooned in capability far beyond the low-end ‘gruntsuit’ it had originally been intended as, much as the pre-Rifts NorthrupCobra ‘ultralight’ fighter had metamorphosed into the much larger and more complex FA-18 Hornet...Paladin Steel now found itself looking for a light power armor to fill the very niche the PSA-11 had originally been intended for. The PSA-10 was brought out of developmental limbo, finalizing changes made, and the design moved into full-scale production. The introduction of the PA-10 would formalize the emerging triple-tiered organization of Paladin Steel’s and Greater New England’s power armro corps(light PSA-10-style armors in the skirmisher and reserve lines, the PSA-11s as the rank-and-file main battle line armors, and the heavysupport elements of PSA-12s....though some believe the organization is properly a FIVE-tiered organization, with specialized ultra-light exoskeletons/stealth armors and special duty engineering and EW armors fulfilling the other sections. ).
The PSA-10 is simplicity itself in design, most of the work already having been done by the Coalition States(and by NEMA before them). From the waist down the PA-10 is virtually identical to the traditional CS SAMAS, but because the upper torso no longer needs to support the weight and associated stresses of the large flight pack, the torso plating is lighter and more sculpted for optimal damage deflection. The ankles are rather thicker, too, for the internal shock absorption and jump-assist gear, and incidentally look very similar to the ‘booties’ worn by GNE Jumpjet/Paratroopers. The back and shoulders mount modular lug attachment points for mounting lighter gear and ordnance packages. The head/helmet has been completely redesigned to resemble a standard EBA helm, though custom helmets are also possible/available. The PSA-10 looks remarkably ‘human’, in that it lacks the disporportionate angles and bulges of larger power armors.
In order to save expense and speed production, PS has fitted the PSA-10 with a modular powerpack that allows the armor to be fitted with a variety of powerplants, depending on the circumstantial and financial needs of the operators. The two most popular powerpack options are an electric battery pack and a micro-fusion nuclear generator(both of which can be detached and used for other purposes, such as running vehicles or charging other electrical equipment). Due to Paladin Steel’s experience and expertise in manufacturing low-loss room-temperature superconductors, the electric battery back is particularly efficient, with an energy life of five days before needing replacement/recharging.
Since its introduction, the PSA-10 has become a mainstay of the GNE and GNE-affiliated units/nations, being found in militia units, rear echelon security forces, engineering, and labor units. Because it lacks the PSA-11’s distinctive angular lines, and from a distance can be mistaken for a large suit of conventional EBA or a light full conversion cyborg trooper, the PSA-10 is popular with infantry units that don’t want to advertize the fact that they have power armor assets(recent upgrades to the PSA-11 line have only increased the differences). The rather unremarkable appearance of the PSA-10 has even extended to its own employers; few people in the GNE know or appreciate how common the PSA-10 is in GNE service. The ease of use of the ground-bound PSA-10 also makes it attractive to buyers who can’t spend a lot of time or money training up their personnel in the operation of more sophisticated armors.
The PSA-10 is also available on the open market; with only stylistic differences and a few minor alterations to the weapons software and interface blocks to distinguish the mass-market units from those deployed with the GNE.
Not surprisingly, the same idea of the PSA-10(knocking-off earlier CS designs) has caught on with several other companies, such as Northern Gun, Bandito Arms, and Chipwell, who are reportedly about to introduce their own versions(if they haven’t already).
Type: PS-PA-10

Systems of Note:
Standard Power Armor Systems
Weapons Systems:
2) Forearm Hardpoints(2)---Each forearm is fitted with a hardpoint capable of accommodating any of the commercially-available cyborg forearm options.

2)Backpack Hardpoint----The Pikeman features a single power-actuated over-shoulder hardpoint for mounting a heavy weapon such as a railgun with ammo drum, missile launcher, or light energy cannon(must have own power source if nuclear powerpack option is not available). Features weapons stabilization and powered aiming(+1 to strike).

3) (Optional) Use of Handheld Weapons---The PSA-10’s hands are scaled to use standard infantry weapons, though the extra strength of the exoskeleton allows the wearer to carry and use fairly heavy weapons with ease.

Options:
*Jetpack---A jet propulsion unit CAN be fitted to the PSA-10, but it takes the place of the heavy packpack weapon. It doesn’t remake the PSA-10 into the SAMAS, but it does offer it more mobility.
Weight: 120 lbs
MDC: 120
Speed: Hover to 220 MPH, maximum altitude of 500 ft
Cost: 120,000 credits

*Jump-Pack---A less powerful jetpack that uses pulsed thrust to catapult the armor in long distance-devouring leaps
Weight: 90 lbs
MDC: 100
Speed: Can perform powered leaps of 250 ft lengthwise and 80 ft up. CAN Hover for about 30 seconds, maximum altitude of 200 ft
Cost: 90,000 credits

*Thermal Armor---This adds applique ‘scale mail’ of thermal reflective tile, developed from PS’s pre-Rifts work in heat shield ceramics. The armor takes 1/3 LESS damage from heat and fire-based attacks

Variants:
Paladin Steel is already beginning to produce its share of mods and variants of the PSA-10, ranging from engineering suits with extra power tools on the forearms, to the more radical variants described below:

PSA-10F---The ‘Smokey’ is a specialized firefighting armor for prolonged operations fighting fires. Besides featuring a more extensive version of the thermal tile protection offered as an option, the Smokey also features several long cooling vanes on its back. The Smokey takes HALF damage from heat and fire-based attacks. The backpack mount is typically used to carry a liquids tank for water or other fire extinguishing chemicals, dispensed through a pump-hose sprayer(50 t range, carries about 25 gallons).

PSA-10N---The navalized version of the PSA-10, the ‘Tar’ features built-in floatation pockets and pumpable ballast chambers, watersealing, a multimode life support system, decompression calculator comp, backpack hydrojets (20 MPH), and a mini-sonar array. Can survive depths of down to 3,000 ft.

PSA-10S---When PS got around the orbital quarantine barrier and began operations in near-space, they needed a version of the PSA-10 for orbital construction work and combat operations under the deadly conditions of space, with Orbital opposition. The ‘AstroBoy’ is optimized for space operations, with a built-in jetpack (50 MPH, and enough propellant for 6 hours of contant maneuvering), maneuvering verniers in the shoulders and legs, extra radiation shielding, and magnetic cleats on the feet, knees, and elbows. The armor can be immediately distinguished by its highly reflective outer armor (lasers do 1/3 less damage) and metallic-tint faceplate.

Paladin Steel Fubuki (II)-class Destroyer

“Sir...profile recognition states that ship’s a World War vintage Japanese destroyer! Think our Melanesian friends are whistling up some Cargo support?”
“I haven’t heard of them doing anything that big, nor have I heard of any such activity in the area...Keep a close eye on it, though...maybe we can find out who it belongs to and what it’s doing out here...”

“So what do you little girls need a ship like this for?”
“We are going fishing.”
“For what?”
“Gaghiel.”

Though hardpressed by the Pacific War and its aftermath to rebuild/build up the naval defenses of the West Coast, Paladin Steel West has done some commission work for customers; one of these contracts was to build an updated version of the 1930s-era Imperial Japanese Navy Fubuki-class Destroyer type. At one time considered the most powerful destroyers in the world navies of the time, the Fubukis were groundbreakers, introducing many features that subsequently became standard on all subsequent destroyers(such as fully enclosed turrets, and raised forecastle decks). PS elected to base the remake on the Ayanami-subclass which composed the second batch of Fubukis, and which incorporated a heavy torpedo armament(the feared and hated ‘Long Lance’ naval torpedo that so worried Western naval architects).
The upgraded Fubuki(II)s constructed by Paladin Steel West feature all-modern electronics, fusion powerplants, modern megadamage materials, and new weaponry. The use of a modern fusion powerplant freed up space normally given over to fuel tanks, to storage and hull reinforcement(greatly welcomed, as the original Fubukis, like many 1930s-era IJN destroyers, lacked much, if any, armor protection). The original splinter-shielded turrets have been replaced with fully-enclosed gun turrets with both synchronized and independent fire control, and automated autoloaders. The twin stacks have been replaced with a sensor mast and a cooling tower. Extensive automation in critical areas has reduced the size of the crew, allowing for more room, or, if the situation demands, carriage of a complement of marines or naval infantry aboard ship.
Other features include extendable lateral stabilization fins for better handling in rough waters, substantially upgraded sonar and radar systems, and advanced fire control. More efficient propulsion design has led to an improvement in speed and handling.
Weaponry is heavy, and remains based on ammunition-dependent systems. Six five-inch guns in three turrets give impressive performance against both surface and aerial targets with a selection of various ammunition types. The Fubuki IIs also sport no less than three triple-tube heavy torpedo launchers that can devastate surface ships and also engage submarine targets. Backing these main batteries are over a dozen lighter-caliber auto-cannon and energy weapons for point air defense. The main, and early, criticism of this configuration is the lack of missile weapons, aside from possible infantry-style handheld LSAM or ATM launchers deployed by the crew; PS has indicated that future ships could be fitted with missile launchers in place of one or more of the main weapon mounts.
Overall, the Fubuki-IIs are considered to be average in terms of performance; they are heavily armed, and offer a fair balance of capabilities as both ASW and AAA ships, but lack the versatility of more modern designs. For example, the design lacks provision of any onboard aircraft or large troop contingents. The ships carry little in the way of bleeding edge technology, and the overall design is fairly conservative.
PSW has already constructed three Fubukis; one for the original private customer, and another two units for the Takamatsu Navy. It is not known if the GNEN will commission or accept any units in the foreseeable future, though PS certainly could produce additional DDGs of the class if so requested.

Systems/Features:
Standard Ship Features, plus;
*Long Range Radio---500 miles
*Long Range Radar--500 miles
*Sonar---Depth gauge and detection; 500 mile range
*Towed Array Sonar---1,000 ft of sensor-lined cabling can be reeled out behind the ship. TAS also has the advantage of being able to look under thermoclines that deflect normal surface-carried sonar sets. Effective sonar range of 100 miles.
*Fire Control System--The Fubuki-IIs mount an advanced fire control system for directing the main guns...With the bridge and main mast intact and functional, the main guns can be slaved to the fire control system and get a +2 to strike. The 25mm guns can also be tied in, but due to their mountings and independent targeting system, only get a +1 to strike.
*Hull Degausser---This system can be used to periodically de-magnetize the hull, loosening the grip of magnetic-attachment limpet mines, and reducing the effectiveness of magnetically-triggered ocean mines in detecting the vessel and detonating.
*Closed-environment Life Support System---If necessary, the Fubuki destroyers can seal up, and recycle their air for up to a week.
*Desalination Gear---The destroyers, in addition to having their own onboard fresh water supply, have a desalinator for producing fresh water from salt water.
*Search Lights(4)----10,000 ft range. IR and normal light.
*Lifeboats---The Fubukis sport four 20-man heavy lifeboats(250 MDC each, 20mph electric motors), and inflatable rafts (30-150 MDC each) for 120% of crew complement.

Weapons Systems:
1) Six 5-inch Guns(3x2)---Mounted in three twin-gun turrets are six 127mm guns; one turret mounted forward, and two turrets aft(one mounted stepped above the last one)...Each turret has 270-degree rotation, and 75-degree elevation. The turrets on the Fubukis have been upgraded with modern powerloader systems and gas-coolant systems for faster rates of fire.
Range:17,575 yards* in a surface role, 37,200 feet in anti-aircraft mode
(RAP/Rocket-Assisted Projectile) 23,770 yards
(*Note: It would take over a minute for shot to hit the target at maximum range...est. 68 seconds)
Damage:
(Fragmentation) 6d6 MD to a 35 ft radius
(High Explosive-Armor-Piercing) 1d6x10 MD to 12 ft blast radius
(Plasma)2d4x10 MD to a 30 ft blast radius
(Flare) Burns for 1d4 minutes, illuminating a 2,000 ft area
(Chaff Round)Spreads radar-disrupting chaff similar to Triax-type chaff
Rate of Fire: 5 shots per melee per gun.
Payload:Magazine capacity each gun for 200 shells

2) 24-inch Heavy Torpedo Launcher(3x3)---Located amidships are three trainable triple-tube arrays for launching heavy torpedoes, either for anti-ship or anti-submarine attack. It is not known if PS has provided the private contractee or the Takamatsu Navy with Tangler or Elemental Warhead torpedoes, though they would certainly be carried by GNEN units.
Range: 35 miles
Damage:(High Explosive) 4d6x10 MD to a 25 ft blast radius
(Plasma-Nuclear) 2d4x100 MD to a 75 ft blast radius
Rate of Fire: Volleys of 1-3
Payload: 18 torpedoes; 9 in the tubes, and 9 in reserve storage.

3) 25mm Heavy Machine Guns(22; 8x2 twin mounts...two forward of the bridge, just behind the ‘A’ turret , 2 abaft the bridge, two each on two elevated gun platforms straddling the funnels, 6x1 single mounts around the rest of the ship )-----The Fubuki contract called for mounting an extensive array of 25mm light autocannon---PS’s OCSW-2 ‘Arden’ weapon---in a mix of twin- and single-mounts. The weapons are, aside from their mountings, identical to the standard GNE-issue OCSW-2s. down to the sighting system package.
Range: (Effective Range)2,000 meters (6,000 ft)
(Maximum Range)(-3 to strike)3,600 meters
Damage:(SDC)* (Fragmentation) 2d6x10 SDC to 10 ft radius**
4d6x10 SDC per 5 rd burst, 8 ft blast radius
1d4 MD per 10 rd burst, 14 ft blast radius
4d6 MD per 60 rd burst! 25 ft blast radius(takes ALL attacks that melee and is -2 to strike)
(High Explosive) 6d6x10 SDC to 4 ft radius
1d4 MD per 5 rd burst, 8 ft blast radius
2d4 MD per 10 rd burst, 12 ft blast radius
6d6 MD per 60 rd burst! 20 ft blast radius(takes ALL attacks that melee and is -2 to strike)
(Armor Piercing) 1d4x100 SDC, no blast radius
1d6 MD per 5 rd burst, 1 ft blast radius
2d6 MD per 10 rd burst, 2 ft blast radius
1d6x10 MD per 60 rd burst! 4 ft blast radius(takes ALL attacks that melee and is -2 to strike)
*Note that beyond the accurate range of 6,000 ft, AP rounds lose some of their effective penetrating power due to diminishing velocity; reduce damage by 20%

*(Yes, I know, why include SDC when it just as quickly becomes MDC? You’re still being hit with a pretty hefty shell)
**(Note that SDC weapons enjoy a slightly larger blast radius than that of MDC weapons, owing to the lower damage potential)

(MD)(Fragmentation)1d6 MD to 7 ft radius
4d6 MD per 5 rd burst, 10 ft blast radius
2d4 x10 per 10 rd burst, 14 ft blast radius
4d6x10 per 60 rd burst! 22 ft blast radius(takes ALL attacks that melee and is -2 to strike)
(High Explosive) 3d6 MD single shot, 5 ft blast radius
1d4x10 per 5 rd burst, 8 ft blast radius
2d4 x10 per 10 rd burst, 12 ft blast radius
5d6x10 per 60 rd burst! 20 ft blast radius(takes ALL attacks that melee and is -2 to strike)
(Armor Piercing)4d6 MD single shot, no blast radius
2d4x10 per 5 rd burst, 1 ft blast radius
3d4 x10 per 10 rd burst, 2 ft blast radius
6d6x10 per 60 rd burst!, 3 ft blast radius(takes ALL attacks that melee and is -2 to strike)
*Note that beyond the accurate range of 6,000 ft, AP rounds lose some of their effective penetrating power due to diminishing velocity; reduce damage by 20%

HESH (High Explosive Squash Head) - Designed to ‘spald’ off armor on the interior of power armors and vehicles. Composite ‘chobham’(layered armor and nylon mesh) armor reduces this internal damage by HALF, by holding the armor together.
HESH rounds do NOT have a blast radius.
3D6 MD plus 4D6 SDC to the person(s) inside the object.
1d4x10 per 5 rd burst,4 ft blast radius----plus 4D6+2 SDC to the person(s) inside the object
2d4 x10 per 10 rd burst, 6 ft blast radius----plus 5d6 SDC to the person(s) inside the object
5d6x10 per 60 rd burst! 10 ft blast radius----plus 1d4x10 SDC to the person(s) inside the object(takes ALL attacks that melee and is -2 to strike)

(Crowd Control rds)---Essentially an expanding plastic ‘flyswatter’ that delivers a bruising knockdown punch. Cut effective range to 200 ft. Does 2d4 SDC per rd, humans and human-sized D-Bees must roll a D20-5 to maintain their footing (must equal or surpass the attacker's roll to strike...Full rules in TNW p.174). Human-sized light power armors(500-800 lbs) also roll on a D20, but are +2 to save versus knockdown

(Wood Rounds) 7d6 SDC single shot (1d4x10+5 HP to vampires), no blast radius
2d4x10+10 SDC per 5 rd burst (2d4x10+10 HP to vampires), 2 ft blast radius
6d6 MD per 10 rd burst (3d6x10+10 HP to vampires), 3 ft blast radius

Rate of Fire: Rated at 260 Rounds per minute...Can fire single shot, or in bursts of 3-60 rounds per melee
Payload: The OCSW typically comes with two 37 round box-magazines(total of 74 rounds) or can be belt- or drum-fed. The mounts on the Fubuki IIs sport 100 rd ammo bins per each gun.
Bonuses: From any sensor package fitted
Special Features:
*Air Burst ‘smart’ munition capability---Shells can be set to explode on contact or proxiimity fuze.
*Corrosion-proof all-weather composite ceramic construction
*Simple grip and button electronic trigger, suitable for a variety of manipulatory appendages
*Can be rigged for remote firing and operation
*Smart-ported for sensor pack- and cyberlink- hookup
Bonuses from Sensor Package:
*Laser Range-finding and Targeting(6,000 ft range)
*Thermographic Imaging----5,000 ft
*Passive Nightvision---5,000 ft
*Ultrasonic Scanning----1,500 ft range
*Microwave Radar Motion Tracking--160 degree arc, out to 1,000 ft
*Remote Video Feed Capability
*Combat Algorithms----Correct for weapon bouncing and target movement. Give bonuses of +3 to strike on normal shots, +4 to strike with called shots. +2 initiative thanks to target prioritizing

4) Pulse Laser Guns(10)---These replace the original 13mm machine guns. The contractees purchased the PS-RFL2-33 ‘Blazer’ Rapid-Fire Infantry Laser. These weapons are IDENTICAL in all respects to the standard infantry weapon, with the notable exception of having a blue-green frequency built in, and being typically mounted on a pintle with a 40 MDC splinter shield. The weapons are powered by a hook-up to the ship’s power grid through a connection in the pintle base, but retain their e-clip/e-canister backup power supply, and can be fully dismounted and used as normal as the situation merits.
Range: 4,000 ft
Damage: 3d6 MD single shot, 6d6 MD short burst, 1d6x10 MD medium burst( 20 shots, 2 attacks), 2d6x10 MD long burst(40 shots, 2 attacks), 4d6x10 MD full magazine burst(80 shots, no bonuses to strike...does 3d6 MD to 4d4 targets if in a spray attack).
Rate of Fire: Standard
Payload: 25 shots from the standard e-clip in the forward holder, 70 shots from a regenerating canister e-clip. Regenerates 5 shots per hour, and can self-renew four times before needing to be overhauled. E-clip adaptors allow the Blazer to use conventional e-clips and CS canisters in a pinch.
Special Features:
*Top Rail for Scopes/Sights(a Telescopic Sight w/ Laser Targeting...+1 to strike...is standard issue)
*Integral Carrying Handle
*Power-link Capability---This gives the Blazer the ability to be hooked up to a vehicle power supply or backpack battery(including Free Quebec models---in this case, the more efficient power systems actually give the Blazer 130 shots from the normally 120-shot FQ power units).

5) Depth Charges---A fantail depth charge launcher can drop depth bombs for destroying submarine targets.
Range: Can be set for down to 2 miles deep
Damage: 2d4x10 MD to 100 ft radius, and 4d6 MD to an additional 30 ft radius
Rate of Fire: Drops one a time, up to 5 times a melee.
Payload: 36

6)Countermeasures:------Paladin Steel has adopted a series of standard countermeasure packages for use aboard their vessels. Notably they have adapted the US Navy Mk 38 Rapid Bloom Off-Board Countermeasures(RBOC-2) launcher system and the Replica radar signature decoy system. The RBOC-2 fires rocket-mortar shells of flares and chaff up to 1.25 miles away, to heights of 3,000 ft(the better to fool missiles coming in over the horizon), and fires clouds of chaff from deck mortars at closer ranges to confuse other guided weapons).
The Replica system resembles a folded-liferaft capsule when in its launcher, but can be fired off up to 300 ft, and rapidly unfolds to become two linked floating radar and sonar reflectors that give the appearance of a much larger object, and hopefully divert enemy fire and attention away from the targetted vessel.
A variant on this system includes attaching active sonar decoys or “Screamers” to attract or confuse accoustic sensors and homing torpedoes.
The Fubuki II has 4 RBOC mortar banks(2 forward, 2 rear), and 2
Replica System launchers on the fantail.
Range: The RBOC can toss decoy bundles 1.25 miles, and to an altitude of 3,000 ft
Damage: None. The RBOC is too inaccurate to be used as an effective weapon(oh, it could probably blow a person off the deck if they were standing too close, but that goes without saying) Effects are similar to Triax-style chaff
01-50 Enemy Missile or volley detonates in chaff and threat is nuetralized
51-75 Missile/Volley diverts and may pursue/lock on to other targets
76-00 No Effect! Missile(s) still on target!
(Flare/Chaff)Will also temporarily blind and impede flying monsters who fly into it.
Reduce APMs/combat bonuses/ speed by half for 1d4 melees
Payload: Flare/Chaff lauchers typically have 10 shells each. A Replica launcher will have 2 decoys per launcher.

Options:
*ECM Suite--A mini- Battlefield EW Center, is incorporated into the Bridge. Internally, the communications deck is fitted with a plug-in, add-on EW console for several dedicated EW officers. The ECM add-on provides the ship with greatly enhanced EW decryption abilities, de-scrambling, and secured communications, frequency scanning, and signal locators, as well as limited range jamming and ground-level electronic cloaking.
Of the three Fubuki-IIs, only the first of the class, privately contracted, is known to have been fitted with this system.
Decryption Bonuses: +10% to Cryptography Skill
+15% to Radio skill rolls to defeat jamming
Jamming Range: 20 miles
EW Cloaking: -15% to enemy Read Sensory Instruments rolls using surface search radars(NOT optical and thermographic systems)
Estimated Cost: 10 million credits

*ORACLE---Omni-diRectional Aura Classification and Locator Electronics---A TW development of the SNARLS PPE Scanner, this system consists of a series of advanced Technowizardry scanner systems(TW optic mounts, static crystal PPE meters, and whatnot) stationed around the ship, feeding into a central computer system with special TW-derived interface program algorithms. The system is designed to detect incoming magical/paranormal attacks and alert the crew to them(hopefully in time to allow them to take defensive measures). PS hopes to upgrade the system to allow for over-the-horizon and remote-viewing advanced early warning capabilities. The ORACLE Mrk II is currently being retrofitted to most ships-of-the-line of the VFSN/GNEN.
Of the three Fubuki-IIs, only the first of the class, privately contracted, is known to have been fitted with this system.
Effective Range: 4,000 ft
Estimated Cost: 12 million credits

Variants:
Paladin Steel has not yet built any variants of the Fubuki(II) class, but has made it known that the design can be customized for the needs of any future buyers of the vessels.
Changes could include replacing one or more of the 5-inch gun turrets with a single-barrel heavy naval laser weapon(9,000 ft range, 1d4x100 MD per shot) for air defense. Any of the 25mm or light pulse lasers could be replaced with alternate weapons, such as additional lasers or rail guns.
Another option would be to replace one or more of the torpedo launchers with trainable missile launch racks(PS has looked at a remount of the same combined missile launcher used on the old Iron Bolt missile tank, that would give a single launcher 120 mini-missiles and 12 long range missiles). However, this configuration would lack, even with the hull space freed up by the fusion engine, provision for rapid reloading of the missile racks(some naval architects have compared it to the old Soviet ‘dripping guns’ school of design of mounting multiple weapons with little reserve magazine capacity, as opposed to Western designs focusing on a few weapons, and large ammunition supplies).

i'm guessing about 6 hours (including a break for food). it was shortly after natasha told me how to find a link to each post that i started, and the post where i said "here's what i have so far" i was planning on putting it all there... but then i ran into complications with the 50 URL limit.

hmmm... drat... it looks like you're right >.<

now i'm gonna have to find the time to figure out a new system of getting the links to go to specific posts... *sigh*

anyways, there should be exactly 50 links per post, up until the very last one. i think it had 45 before taalismn reposted the pikeman, so once i redo it there should be 46? (i might be off by a little...)

because if it did, that would make it a lot faster...

(hmmm... we should find a way to make this a wiki or something like that for you =P )
