Actually, in the Star Trek Animated Series, there WAS an episode ('Infinite Vulcan')revolving around a mad scientist and survivor of the Eugenics Wars who had plans to clone an army of giant Spocks to enforce lasting peace on the galaxy...
Now imagine what would have happened if that Army of Logic(which never came to fruition, though a giant Spock WAS produced) had run into the Zentraedi Grand Fleet...

Yeah, well, DYRL Vrlitwhai Kridanik got a raw deal....plus he has to sulk on a dimly-lit bridge all the time...

It had been a wretched succession of Loops after that....The SDF-1 had still been forced back into space, especially after the world government had learned that the Zentraedi were solely interested in the SDF-1...but not before the government had infected the crew and civilians with a plague that turned them into zombies...probably in the hopes that the Zentraedi would be infected as well and go away...
Being trapped on the bridge by rampaging undead while plotting a course into the sun had NOT been fun....

Then after that, there had been the one where the Zentraedi were cannibals...Though, admittedly, watching Kyle the Peacenik being slurped down like a shrimp had had its moments...

Now there was this one, and it promised to be truly horrible, as the four captive members of Vermillion squirmed in the chairs they'd been bound into...
Above them, stalked the Captain of the SDF-1...Seeing that the four were properly secured, she stepped forward to the podium to address them...
"For the crime of disobeying my orders and NOT bringing me back the ears of the Dread Enemy Commander Breetai," Captain Minmei intoned, "To remind you of the happiness to be had with obedience and loyalty, I shall read you my romantic poetry..."
