This morning, Dr. Boggs doesn't show up for Breakfast. Cybermancer is unusually silent and distant at breakfast.

Some booze is missing from the cabinet with the bunny scratches on it.

Yeah, Wie is technically only about 3 years old now (I guess that makes Ron a special kind of bad man).

Too bad Wie has her own place.

What're the rules regarding minors?

No rules as such. Guardian permission would be preferred of course but we can make allowances for special cases. *ICly, of course*

Also Slayer, Dr. Boggs has not been to breakfast now for many days and Cyber has been hunting around the the mansion, following tracks. He carries a shotgun when he goes. Keeps muttering something about getting that damn rabbit...

I thought you might be thinking of her and she would be a welcome addition to the house. Maybe you could get someone else to play her 'guardian'? Alternatively, something could be worked out between the group watching her and Cyber. In the loosest of terms, he qualifies as a responsible adult. :P

There is still one suite available, with a private bathroom and large walk in closet (so everyone is happy). :P

I'll PM you with some additional information that may or may not influence things.

He will also ask as to the gauge of the shotgun and mention in passing that he has a number of special rounds for 12 gauge should Cyber need to make use of them.

"I haven't seen the good Doctor in a few days. It's almost as though he up and disappeared."

To the question of help, Cyber says, "Be very, very quiet. We're hunting a rabbit. A rabbit of unusual size."

When asked about the shotgun he says, "It's a plain double barrelled 12 gauge as you can plainly see."

When Slayer mentions special rounds, Cyber responds with, "We're hunting rabbit. Just what sort of special round do you think is needed to take down furry rodents?" Then he shakes his head as though Slayer were the insane one.

Err . . . did I miss something? Shotguns? I hope this started out as PMs, or else I definitely fell asleep at the keyboard.

Anyway, I also had another thought: do you have a set of blueprints with the "restricted" sections and where in the mansion everybody is staying?

Don't worry about the shotgun, they're just on a bunny hunt. Some of it has been by PM and MSN.

I do have blue prints for the house but as my phone doesn't have a scanner, uploading will be this weekend at the soonest. I'm on a radiation safety course for work so I'm 3400kms from home and my usual resources. I sent Dr. Boggs an early draft. There's been changes but it should get the idea across.

I will send you the updated floor plans just as soon as I can.

Mostly, I suppose, yes. :quiet:

Okay I will check my files this weekend. Right now I am returning from a course party. Good news (maybe) I have a new nick name. Tank because of my alcolhol tolerance. And here I was taking it easy because of our test tomorrow.

Anyway, I will get you the info you seek, even the OCC stuff. ;P

Laters!

That's okay, they're not accurate but they should give a good idea of what the layout of the house is. :)

I'm hoping there'll be more than one bathroom . . . (and that one happens to be on the floor that's off limits. :-P )

Clarity calls dibs on exploring the cave by the beach! :D

Well, the cave is still there but there's no beach now. All suites have bathrooms and the second floor has at least one public bathroom. In addition, there are two male and two female bathrooms on the first floor.

Clarity can have the cave, it's not been detailed yet.

The brewery is where the boat house is on the original maps.

Again, I should be updating the maps this weekend. :)

Gamer Zombie,

Wandering the grounds, you'll find bunny prints.

Bunny prints large enough to place your entire foot into.

And only the rear foot prints. Spaced apart so that you can comfortably step from one to the next.

Also, Cyber has disappeared, unannounced.

Slayer, slight change to the above post. Cyber is still around and still trying (unsuccessfully) to find his missing lab bunny. The giant footprints are still found.

This morning at breakfast, Matt introduces the new librarian, Rosetta. She's tall, blonde and a fairly handsome woman. She's also all business, something that is clear from the serious look upon her face.

"Her job is to catelog, and keep track of all the books and various historical scrolls located in the library rooms and the study. No one removes anything from the library without clearing it with her first. Remember that the study and reading rooms are considered part of the library so you can still read anything you find of interest. Don't return it to the shelf however, leave it out on the table so that Rosetta can be certain it is returned to it's proper spot. As the library is a massive, unorganized jumble of books that were already present along with those I brought with me, I'm sure she has her work cut out for her. Just be respectful of her domain and I'm sure everything will be just fine."

It happened so quickly. One of the rooms is now inhabited by a female named Alina ("ah-LEE-na"). She speaks English with a heavy Canadian accent. She walks with an odd bounce and usually is encountered in her black overalls with bandana as she is either going to or returning from her workshop in the garage. She always runs up stairs, skipping at least one with each step, but she descends rather normally although quickly. Otherwise she wears comfortable cargo pants olive drag t-shirts. She is tall for a female, almost 6 feet, with average build. She has dark rusty and brown hair with large dark brown eyes, and her skin tone is like a deep natural tan. She's friendly and will stop to talk to anybody who initiates conversation, but she does not talk about her private life. She will almost inevitably steer the conversation to be about mechanical or electrical things. But it is not a conscious effort; it just happens like that. During the course of such conversations she might mention a component that doesn't seem to exist such as a "hypertorque valve". It's evident that she's not all there - but if it needs fixing, she can almost certainly fix it. She will be attracted to any devices left laying about and will be intensely curious about it, even something as mundane as a screwdriver. She generally spends 75% of her time in the garage and the rest of it out somewhere with just about 6 hours of sleep a night with average bedtime of 2200 hours and 90 minutes of Yoga in the morning...in the garage. In other words, if she is inside the house itself, then she's probably sleeping.

A Heavy Canadian Accent? First time I've heard that term.

Here we'd refer to it as talking like a "hoser"

Okay, some updates for everyone.

Dr. Boggs got back from his trip either very late Friday night or very early Saturday morning, depending on how you reckon such things.

Sunday a new guest arrived but I'll let that player introduce themselves in their good time.

Monday morning after breakfast, both Matt and Dr. Boggs departed the grounds, both in Matt's limo. Matt's driver is also absent, obviously. Neither are expected back until after the 21st although neither said where they were going.

Today, there were two new arrivals.

Alina, who has already introduced their self and another who I will let post for themselves. :)

I've been in touch with Slayer/Gamer Zombies player through other means. Their computer is having virus trouble so they have not been able to get online. The RP involving that player is on hold until they can reliably get back online.

Tonight, all is quiet.

Tomorrow is another story.

The Shrine to Inari is okayed immediately. If by arborium you mean arboretum and are referring to the the woods behind the house, then the answer is also yes.

I do not think it works that way. When Tomorrow arrives we call it Today, but it is still that unit of time with "another story". And the story that arrives with it does not change with the label. Tsk tsk.

You need to look up the musical, Annie. She explains the concept of tomorrow and why it is wonderful quite well through song.

In any event, I have two players currently AWOL and nearly everyone else is busy in some form or another with Logan's gig.

Nevertheless, you have presented an excuse to forward an event in the house for those who are currently there.

Things left laid about in the public areas instead of being properly put away have had one of two things happen of late. Either they are found later, where they belong, or they disappear for days only to turn up in the most unlikely of places. Often found by the maid who will complain quite animatedly about things being returned to their proper place. (Petite Elf Girl, this is separate from those other things that we've discussed).

Specifically to Shang, I need a list of what you've been planting in the garden, thank you.

One more thing. Any attempts at clairvoyance or remote viewing from the grounds will fail until further notice.
