Extraordinary PS- Lift PSx200 lbs. Carry PSx100 lbs.
Supernatural PS- Lift PSx500 lbs. Carry PSx300 lbs.
So if you want to lift more or do more damage, you go for Supernatural PS for both.

My guess is he was looking at the lift/carry for supernatural PS in other RPGs which I think is merely 50/100.
