There isn't a twin Boomgun varient in Free Quebec.
There is:
The classic w/ the rimouski weapon package (Small laser, tiny laser, and Sword)
The Triax "Cyclops" varient w/ a Weaker Boomgun in fluff same stats as the normal boomgun, a laser, missiles, and sword.
The Glittergirl w/ the "Double Up" AMR/under-slung Plasma Cannon (can be swapped for Boomgun), Mini-missiles, (Optional extra mini-missiles).
The Side Kick w/ Kicker Heavy Grenade Launcher, side arms & other man-sized weapons (NEVER a Boomgun)
The Tarantula w/ the Shake&Bake Laser/Plasma/Automatic Rail Gun (can swap for Boomgun), Ion Blaster, Sword, Optional Head Lasers,
Optional Mini-Missiles.
The Taurus w/ 2 High powered Mortars (can swap for two Hi-Lasers, a Boom Gun [Note only 1], a Double-Up [Note only 1], or a Wolfs Bite assault rifle [Note only 1])
The Silver Wolf w/ a Particle Beam Assault Cannon (can swap for Double Up), Mini-missiles, laser, swords. (NEVER a Boomgun)

No Twin Boomguns.

----------------------
On the topic of armor customization: For Body-Armour & Power armour modifications are purely GM fiat, the only guidelines I can find are for Giants of 13-~25 feet in height. ADDING armour plates to body armor on the the other hand I believe has only been stated for one of the HU Tech class and the R05 Armorer O.C.C.

Guess I'll live with the twin gun penalty from the South America one. Piloted by a Pheaton Juicer of course.

It actually seems simpler to me, now you just have to worry about front/back forces instead of the rotational forces when you fire from just 1 side.

? It has more rotational force issues! It is a Coaxial design (it is double barreled NOT a gun on each shoulder)

*actually looks at the Fat Boy* well that makes no sense... guess I assumed a logical design when I heard of there being 2 cannons.

Would've given something that bulky better MDC...

What might actually make the most sense with 2 guns is to fire them in opposite directions and then they would counteract each other's force. Downside being you'd have to sandwich yourself between 2 opponents or else waste ammo.

Did any one mention the dog boy/mutant animal armor with different MDC for the large mutant animals.
The Clones are coming you shall all be replaced, but who is to say you have not been replaced already.

Master of Type-O and the obvios.

Soon my army oc clones and winged-monkies will rule the world but first, must .......

I may debate canon and RAW, but the games I run are highly house ruled. So I am not debating for how I play but about how the system works as written.
