Mm...'cause the Albino guys who turn into wraiths at the drop of a hat and walk around in sunlight without trouble just scream vampires as opposed to ghosts.

Hmmm... looks like we have enough Green Lanterns for their own Corp and enough Spider-mans to create our own clone saga.

Okay, let's run some voltage through it.
50,000 volts should do the trick.

Not even the Power Cosmic is enough for that dear boy.

I Just forget about that whole event,

Just like:
Hercules towing Manhattan Island through a space about 8 miles two small, let alone towing an island.

Hercules getting Galactus Drunk and having him take off his helmet and show is white guy fro and cry on Herc's shoulder

Galactus's White guy fro

Really anything dealing with Hercules

You neglected to mention, Manhattan was turned the wrong way.

As an alien who spends all his time raiding the Cosmic Fridge, I suspect Galactus hadn't kept up on current mens' hairstyles.
Considering his original costume featured shorts (really, they were more of an amroured "skort"), I can overlook the 'Fro.

The Graphic Novel "Full Circle" was actually pretty good.
The second mini-series was also pretty good.

Yeah, it really would've. Instead of stretching out for what, two years across four titles if it had been a nice simple two or three month event without all those excess twists, turns, characters, and extra spider-clones things would've been a whole lot better than they were.

Blah at you guys. At its core, the concept of the Clone Saga was cool - and a good use of an old plotline. I don't really agree with their decision to make the guy who'd been Spider-Man since the clone was made the actual clone, and the multiple steps of back tracking Marvle had to do because they decided to make the Scarlet Spider the real Peter Parker really caused a flub. But if they'd just introcued the Scarlet Spider, give Peter a few months of self doubt, resolve it that Peter was the real one, and then have moved on the story would've been much better rememebred.

Plus we'd probably still have Ben Reilly as an active character today - it would've let people have their more light hearted spider-man and their darker more mature spider-man at the same time, which would've made a lot more people happy than they're making right now by trying to make him be both at once.

More like Batman, now with extra estrogen.

As a woman, I imagine Batman would look more like a cross between a dancer, a gymnast, and Wu Shu champion: lean, cut, slender.

No really. Whether Ben is the original or the clone he has all these memories up till that night. He knows about great power and great responsibility and he feels the guilt of Uncle Ben dying and everything.....but Peter is Spider-Man. Peter is Peter. He's just a reflection, and he's alone. So he takes off and spends years trying to find himself, because he can't bring himself to just go to the only people in the world who could really help him - he is Peter in a way, and he knows how Peter would react. And he definitely knows how Aunt May would react. It would kill her, he just knows it - so he takes off. Of course, since he is Peter, he can't keep himself from doing what Peter would do in any situation. He'd help people - and normally you could write this off as a happily ever after but that doesn't make for a good story.

So you can't make it a happily ever after. Everything he does to help people just goes wrong. It gets worse and worse as time goes on. People he saves get killed later anyway. He saves bad people accidentally. He feels the need to constantly drift because no matter where he goes it doesn't ease the pain eating away in him, so his life is filled with no one of any permanent joy.

Plus he's still got the love and emotions Peter does (I forget....at spider-clone was he still hung up on gwen/the memory of gwen/or was he moving on to mary jane?) with any of those three alternatives, it works the same. He's in love with a woman that is either dead or in love with the other "him". It is enough to drive a guy crazy.

Now remember he isn't distracted by having to maintain his double life like Peter is - he is just him all the time, so he's got more time to learn about himself, learn about his powers (impact webbing wouldn't be a creation now, it would just be an evolution of his webbing powers under the most recent revision to spider-man). He's a better spider-man than Spider-Man. He just isn't a better man. And it is all Peter's fault - it should be Ben with the woman, with Aunt May, with the stability that came in the unstable life of being Spider-Man. He can do a better job than Peter can, and things WOULD work out if he was doing that job instead of living this shadow life --- he just knows it.

So boom, there's your set up for the return of Ben Reilly to NYC, to reclaim his life at any cost.

Here's what you get if you answer max No for everything:

You are dark, love gadgets
and have vowed to help the innocent
not suffer the pain you have endured.

Batman
20%
Robin

Superman

Supergirl
0%
Wonder Woman
0%
Hulk
0%
The Flash
0%
Green Lantern
0%
Catwoman
0%
Iron Man

If you answer max yes for everything, it makes you Superman with 100% for all characters except Batman & Robin who are 80%.

If you answer the middle circle for everything, it makes you Superman with a 50% value for all characters.
