It looks nice. Just two things I noticed, is that the main body is low compared to the bridge. With the bridge being so high I'd probably take the main body to 10,000. The second thing I noticed is that the FTL seems a little slow compared to top of the line. According the Three Galaxies book there are FTL drives that go up too 7+ light years per hour. I think I'd take it up to that level.

It is in the Three galaxies books. As for ships built with it that official, there are none. Due to the fact that there aren't any new Palladium books out there about Phase World that have been produced. Although Braden's is coming out. Hopefully it'll have some official material for some ships that use it. And actually I can see small ships using it. The USN have some small warships (Littoral) which will be able to motor along at over 40 knots. And we're talking ships that follow a simliar designing. Just my thought on it.

Definitely things like family crests and logos and what-not, but I'm not sure whether a paint job would defeat the laser-resistant coating. Anyone know?

Should just burn the paint off and then the laser-resistant coating would take effect.

Besides...the Altess can afford to have robots (or people) on 24/7 duty, buffing and waxing the hulls...
TONGUE-cleaning if they're using prisoners....

True, and Shawn Merrow is probably right. You'd just need to have it repainted after battle. Come to think of it, the Altess probably do that anyway!

There's a fighter and a "battle carrier" on the way as part of Altess Armories as well....and I'm going to drop that bridge MDC like Aramanthus suggested.

Though Altess probably keep a backup racing yacht as an escape pod....

That sounds like an interesting NPC. As kids we created this hysterical recordings which followed a Character named Rockbottom! He was supposed to be a multimillionaire. It was quite humorous.

I'm glad to be of help El Magico! I'll keep trying to help out when I can.

I have a bounty hunter in my game who has appeared now and then. He is a Jannissary who ended up rifted to Phase World. He is working with a Canine species who reminds him of the dog boys back home. He is quite well paid and travels around in a suped up Proctor fighter. He has quite a reputation in my game.

Nice pic! I'm looking forward to seeing the results of this contest. I want see some cool results. What about rules? Maybe three pics of different ships. And it's not a race to see who finishes first. It's about the best pic. Just my thoughts. You two will need to set up your rules.

gravity bubble using contragravity tech is one way. You basically fold space around you until your ship is in a little pocket.

Don't forget just painting the ship a simple flat black. And making sure your ship has better sensors than the locals. That way you detect them and power down once you detect them. You could even disguise your ship sort modular movable panels. That way you could give your ship the looks of an asteroid. Just and idea.
