Zylethes House of Mirrors
Traveling Carnivals are nothing new to the Western Empire they are a way for the ordinary folks to relieve a little stress. However, rumors are starting to spread about Eylethes's Wondrous Traveling Troupe. Among which is Zylethes House of Mirrors, a fun house that is supposed to reveal ones destiny. When Adults enter they are supposed to look into the mirrors to see what the future holds for them weather it be marriage to the one they love or most long for or wealth and power but when children look into the mirror they see strange cityscapes and even more strange lands. If the children push on the mirrors they find themselves able to pass through with little effort. Once on the other side though they are trapped and their parents seem to forget they ever existed. The Children watch in horror as the adults they came in with soon leave with a smile on their faces abandoning them forever. What strange spell is cast over the adults that would make them forget their children? What is the ultimate fate of the children and where do they go? Is there a sinister plot behind the mysterious carnival? Come inside and find the answers for yourself.

The Weeping Tree: Out in the Ophids Grassllands there is a small ruined building. In this building grows a lone tree that has a faced carved into it. Rumor has it that once a month the face carved into the tree cries tears of pure silver. Those who go to see this for themselves are usually driven off by roaming bands of monsters and a tribe of Fairy Folk who have claimed the area as their home. However this doesn't seem to stop those who have heard the story of the Weeping Tree and its Tears of Silver. One of the more popular stories concerning the tree is that it was once a woman who was in love with a God of Nature and when the woman was near death the God couldn't bear the thought of her dying and turned her into a tree. If this is the case though why does she weep. Another story says that two lovers were supposed to meet at the building before running away to live together but an evil Wizard who wanted the woman for his own caught up with her and turned her into a tree instead of letting her go. What could explain this strange tree and its Weeping Face. Is it dangerous and what magics protect it from those who would seek to exploit it. Can you get to the root of this mystery?

Hiemal Lake
In the sultry heat of the Land of the South Winds there is a small lake that is frozen at the centre and slowly thaws as it gets to the edges, it has become a popular place for the rich in the heights of summer, where the temperatures and humidity make it all but impossible to get any meaningful work done. The temperature around the lake is always 13 degrees celsius cooler than the temperatures of the land more than 3 miles away from the lake. This temperature difference also causes spectacular fogs that you can barely see, the locals call the place Brume. The ice in the centre is harvested for cold drinks, and the Ice harvesters also have to pay a steep license fee to do so, however the lake itself does seem to be self replenishing. The Ice harvesters themselves say the the temperature at the centre is much colder than anywhere else and the ice is almost to dense to pick out, One Ice Harvester, Taryn Two fingers Collaster even reported that when him and his friend got to the centre on a day where the fog was thin they could see something large, round and metallic in the ice 40 or 50ft deep, and when they started digging the temperature dropped so much more that his friend died from hypothermia and he lost all the fingers on one hand, and all but 2 on the other. This doesn't effect his ice mining however as he has a wicked looking icepick attached to the fingerless hand.
Unbeknownst to all but a very select few, approximately 1600 metres directly up above the island of ice is a small platform floating in the air, the platform is invisible, and things upon it are invisible from below, but not from above. Sitting in the middle of the platform is a small anvil, and forge setup, the forge, if looked at by a smith, looks to channel the cold for cold forging, but even stranger, there is a donut of silvery metal (palladium) floating 5ft above the anvil, the donut is seven ft across, 3ft thick and has a 3 ft hole in the centre, it is so smooth and polished it is very hard to notice that it is spinning, and makes 1 complete revolution a second (can be used to polish the edges of weapons), it too is also icy cold. Air Warlocks get a bonus of %50 to summoning Air elementals on the platform, and any storm spells cast from the platform have the distance they can be cast increased by 100 miles per level of caster, and the radius, strength and duration of said spells is increased by x3. Arrows made at the forge go twice the distance and ignore negatives from wind, rain and storms. Air and Cold type fairy's love the place, if they find it, and the place occasionally draws Air elementals to it.
If enough ice is removed from the island the area effect of the cold goes further out, and gets more intense in the centre, the Ice Miners know this so they don't take too much, which also keeps the price for ice nice and high.
