BSLG also makes a wide variety of these same items out of Fortified Leather. Fortified Leather items retail for triple the list price of conventional leather goods (quadruple list price and double MDC for items up to twice normal human size, and 5x list price and triple MDC for items larger) and are typically availible in a variety of styles to suit the buyers taste. If something isn't availible to suit yours, Harold will make it for you custom, based on your designs, for only a small price increase.

The weights of these items are the same as those for the equivalent normal leather goods. These leather items appear to be NORMAL leathers in EVERY WAY. They are NOT noticably different, until they are seen deflecting an MDC energy blast or vibro-blade.

NOTE: Any attack roll under the AR of an item strikes the item. Any roll OVER strikes the person or object inside.

Small leather items like wallets and billfolds, card holders, book covers and bindings, and small pouches, knife scabbards or holsters, as well as gloves typically posses 1-2 MDC points, as well as all the other features common to Fortified Leather.

Belts, baldrics, bandoleers, rifle slings, sword scabbards and similar items typically posses 3-10 MDC.

Small to Medium pouches, purses, satchels, backpacks and saddlebags, as well as soft-shelled rifle cases and rifle scabbards, and "light duty" attache cases typically possed 5-12 MDC.

Large satchels, backpacks, saddlebags, reinforced attache cases, and hard rifle cases typcally posses 10-20 MDC.

Pants, chaps, or skirts (or similar legwear) 10-20 MDC. AR 9-11.

Standard length leather coats, AR 10, 15-25 MDC. When combined with pants, the AR becomes 15.

Vests AR 9, or adds +1 to the AR of a coat, or pants. 10-15 MDC.

Overcoats 3/4 length 18-28 MDC, AR 12. Increase to AR 16 when worn with pants. Trenchcoat/Duster: 20-35 MDC. AR 14, or 17 with matching pants.

Hats 2-15 MDC, depending on style. A variety of styles are availible.

Shoes, Boots and other footwear, 2-10 MDC PER SHOE.
