I like the concept alot. I would want more on the Process of them making it into MDC material though.

Even if I was from the Rifts world the family would be hard pressed to convince me they survived the great Catalylsim intact enough to survive the dark ages and continue to be business as usual.

I would like more back ground history. throw in the major npc and posibly a map.

Once you have it flushed out I would like to see you summit it into rifters. I think it is a great idea.

But there's also holsters, scabbards, and other gear to protect your shootin' irons....

Any more Leather goods?

Did you do utility belts? Always listed in OCCs but never described.
"Fortified Leather." A process by which mundane leather can be altered into an MDC material!

If that is one process that the family has under their custom made hats. Do they have other processes that have come into being that allow other tricks with leather. Ever is their main leather of choice is cow, that may be special treats that the new creatures' hides have natural or after a little work.
Someone help me here i am a little brain dead when it comes to leather.

Try selling not only finished leather goods, but leather stock...set up a quick chart of various leather types, including post-rifts animals, and a cost per square foot of leather...so folks , if they want to, can put those Sewing (and Armorer) skills to good use....

"Oh geez, Dracilia! Another nine thousand credits on LEATHER?! HOW many acres of the stuff you need if you're only making underwear with it?! How can you spend so MUCH on so LITTLE?!"
(purr.....)"It's just that I like to get CREATIVE with that little..."

How about a line of leather flasks?

Must have a lot of bone piles around the Company work site.
So...there may be family members or outside source that can work or provide Bone accessories that can be added to line of reworked Sport gear into body armor.... it may only look like bone.

for some pictures to break writer block maybe.

Now if the goggles can have some fun features. You might start a new new fashion statement. At least with the techno-wizards.

If you want to incclude that sort of feature I'm sure that none of them will complain about it. What about something that simulates targetting features. Or maybe some alternate vision features for different levels of ambient light levels.

BSLG makes a long line of high quality conventional leather goods out of normal leather. These goods are of top quality, and typically retail for about 20% less than the prices listed in the book. Custom made items are availible at typical list price to 20% more, depending on what you want. These items typically posses about 20% more SDC than normal to represent the fact that they are well made.

BSLG also makes a wide variety of these same items out of Fortified Leather. Fortified Leather items retail for triple the list price of conventional leather goods (quadruple list price and double MDC for items up to twice normal human size, and 5x list price and triple MDC for items larger) and are typically availible in a variety of styles to suit the buyers taste. If something isn't availible to suit yours, Harold will make it for you custom, based on your designs, for only a small price increase.

The weights of these items are the same as those for the equivalent normal leather goods. These leather items appear to be NORMAL leathers in EVERY WAY. They are NOT noticably different, until they are seen deflecting an MDC energy blast or vibro-blade.

NOTE: Any attack roll under the AR of an item strikes the item. Any roll OVER strikes the person or object inside.

Small leather items like wallets and billfolds, card holders, book covers and bindings, and small pouches, knife scabbards or holsters, as well as gloves typically posses 1-2 MDC points, as well as all the other features common to Fortified Leather.

Belts, baldrics, bandoleers, rifle slings, sword scabbards and similar items typically posses 3-10 MDC.

Small to Medium pouches, purses, satchels, backpacks and saddlebags, as well as soft-shelled rifle cases and rifle scabbards, and "light duty" attache cases typically possed 5-12 MDC.

Large satchels, backpacks, saddlebags, reinforced attache cases, and hard rifle cases typcally posses 10-20 MDC.

Pants, chaps, or skirts (or similar legwear) 10-20 MDC. AR 9-11.

Standard length leather coats, AR 10, 15-25 MDC. When combined with pants, the AR becomes 15.

Vests AR 9, or adds +1 to the AR of a coat, or pants. 10-15 MDC.

Overcoats 3/4 length 18-28 MDC, AR 12. Increase to AR 16 when worn with pants. Trenchcoat/Duster: 20-35 MDC. AR 14, or 17 with matching pants.

Hats 2-15 MDC, depending on style. A variety of styles are availible.

Shoes, Boots and other footwear, 2-10 MDC PER SHOE.

EDIT: More to come!

prices?

In a way the prices are listed just not in the topic. So which book has a list of price for clothing in it? We will just have to do it are self.
