White Dragons

hey all, my first post here. was wondering..in rifts china the npc that runs the shaolin temple is a white dragon?? curious i cant find that race in any book anywhere. did i miss something somewhere? im always looking for new dragon types as the ones in the rifts book and dragons book lacks many of the classical dragon types im used to gaming with.

Probably not a class or type of Dragon, but rather an exceptional whitel-colored example of one of the already listed varieties of dragon....

It was probablly an oddly-colored Great Horned Dragon, conisdering that Palladium dosn't even classify dragons by skin color like D&D, so a white dragon wouldn't exsist. They use actual names.

One big reason I loved PFRPG 1st ed better than D+D. couldn't look at a dragon and know all it's weakness by the colour of its scales.

thought maybe it was a dragon race in some other book or even palladium system, but im starting to think maybe some dragon types thought up for china wb's and got cut from final product? just a guess

I believe it was our first look at what Eric Wujik had in mind for the dragons races in China. Their was a brief stint in the beginning of Rifts China Two (pg 7) that explains the difference between Eastern and Western Dragons (a significant difference going by the hints there). As I would imagine the White Dragon probably corresponds to one of the 5 Chinese Elements, either Air or Metal/Steel? but that's just speculation.
And like what Zerebus said it was probably slated for Rifts China Three

Bai long is just White Dragon in chinese. Although it is possible that they had intended to create new Dragons in the promised Rifts China 3 book. However, with Eric a victem of cancer we'll likely never find out what this was to be
