In RUE page 264-265 it has the optic customizations. I cant remember where the custom grip thing is, but it is in some book because I have used it too. I keep thinking it is mentioned under some skill in Rifts, but I cant remember for sure. Also NGR page 150 has some of the same modifications.

RGMG pg 127, and it states there that it was originally in rifts australia.
