Obviously it's a were-dolphin.
I was raised to beleive if you can't say something nice about a person, say nothing at all. This has led to living a very quiet life.
Someone who tells you what to think is trying to control you. Someone who teaches you how to think is trying to free you.

Would have to ask more questions before trying to guess.

I assume that the worker was either psychically/magically manipulated or bribed. So he would have to be interviewed as well as his family and friends and other coworkers.
I'm not sure why fish would be the target - probably have to start with details about which fish breeds.
Need more details about the hole in the floor to get any kind of idea what caused it. Is it deep and shallow, how long is it, etc.

Two words, man.
Were.
Dolphin.
Never trust a dolphin. They're inherently evil and just generally jerks.

you really hate dolphins don't you
We'll see who has the last laugh when we're all under the oppressive heal of their jack-fins! We're talking about creatures that will kill babies of their own kind just to get a little tail! And they practice on other marine life! What more will it take before you people wake up and realize that the cuteness is just part of their sinister deception! They're evil I tell you! EVIL!

I'm not sure what ot think yet (Cthuhlu comes to mind) but I look forward to the answer and the story behind it.
This also makes me think the forum could use a topic based someley on presenting adventures for other players to make use of. I may have to pursue this and start one. Nice work Serena... you not only share my sister's name... but you are also inspirational!

Use LS.org for that.

Although there are some such topics scattered about in this forum, such as bigbob's weird events topic.

That can work, but the society page is more geared for telling your adventure hooks in a story format or build one with everyone adding on as you go. It is a grand site (and I wish I had more time to commit to it) but I thinking if you just wanna put in your "hook, line, sinkers" and story skeletons of games youve run to give other players ideas to work off of kinda thing.
Let me see about writing something up in the near future and starting the topic.

Were-shark has the claw which can rip metal?
It is always interesting to read about the water story in BtS though.
Natasha worked on some story in the Caribbean that used scientific submarines and such. Interesting environment to put the human investigators.

Well, it was an interesting twist. I reckoned it had to be a were-creature or aquatic shape shifter of some sort.
Although, if it had been me, I would have had it been were-dolphins who were blaming the poor, innocent tiger-sharks when the PC's made contact with the dolphins. Because the PC's expect the Dolphins to be intelligent and 'good'.
Still, good job!

Yes, I remember when the dolphins chased us in our boat. Most from us think they are cute and playful, but I know the truth is that they just never got the good shot.Cybermancer wrote:Well, it was an interesting twist. I reckoned it had to be a were-creature or aquatic shape shifter of some sort.

Reminds of Luna the orka, except without the attack.
