Expanded Horror Factors (from Rifter #48)
Has anyone seen this article yet? My copy hasn't arrived as of the time of this message. I was tweaking the HF rules already for Scream Queen Rules, but I might just dump that depending on how useful this new system might be.
Currently recruiting for Beyond the Supernatural games in 2019 which I am running on Discord: voice, text, and play-by-post. Here is the non-expiring server invite link: 418BQSLG

LOL... I'm doing the exacct same thing Z, I was going to do some of my own tweaking but then I heard abouit this article and held back. Per Kevin's murmur, the shipping's going out today or tomorrow, and I know I'll be getting a few as I'm in this issue.

your second issue? Wow that was fast turnover.
Well... I' not one to brag or toot my own horn or anything ... but this is actually article #6 to appear in the Rifter for me. This however, is my 1st Dead Reign submission (the rest are BTS related).
P.S. I'm still waiting for my books... but I ve got plenty of other material to finish in the vitims book yet, so its not like its holding me up or anything.

But what he didn't tell you is that the Rifter is just the proper thickness to stop his dining table from wobbling.

Re: Expanded Horror Factors (from Rifter #48)
I misplaced my copy before I got to the Horror Factor article. It will turn up, sooner or later. I did, however, read the zombie article. I thought it was great. I don't care for the way overly complicated rules for zeds in Dead Reign, but this is one of the clearly more original interpretations of the z-monster concept. Also, Mista Lou started the article with one of the clearly best written pieces of a game fiction for the product line.

I still don't have DR, but the zombie article was great. It definitely makes me want to at least have a 'mini-apocalypse' happen in my BTS game and pull out one of these. And I agree, the story at the beginning was focused, precise, and set the mood/reasoning very well. The article had no rocks in the path that I stumbled over.
The HF article was ok. I had to read some parts about 3-4 times to get what the actual rules were. I understood the concepts and reasoning, but it was a little disjointed at times. I liked 1/2, didn't like 1/4, and the last 1/4 I would need to re-work. So, path was well lit, but some stones I had to move around and others I stumbled over. Just my Opinion.
