Glitterboy's boom gun round is 200 rounds of "Flechette" type rounds.

Do they hit, "Buckshot" like or "Slug" like ?

Do you mean, do they hit everything within a certain radius, or just a single target?

I always assumed, based on no radius for damage listed that the flechette rounds break open upon firing or after a short distance, but the flechettes are concentratted to a very small radius, say 1ft or less. So effectively they all hit the same target.

Advantage of flechettes over shot is that flechettes can be designed to scatter minimally, where even a choke with a tight pattern from a shotgun results in a wide spread at long range.

I would say they stay rather close even at the 2 mile mark.

I have always said to my players at the 2 mile mark the BG-fletts scatter to only 6 inches or so. Longer distance beyond the Max effective range the fletts scatter even more.

They hit much like Shot ammo but in a closer grouping.

I did away with the 'Flechette type rounds' instead the GB fires a solid slug. Makes more sense considering that the GB is an anit-robot/PA/demon unit.

I like the Slug method myself too.
I make them DU Slugs for added weight and umph.
