LS.ORG RP Fun with Werewolves.

Unread post by Cybermancer »

Nemesis recieved an OOC post regarding an RP regarding were-wolves. It wasn't entirely clear what was going on but I sent my response to the involved parties. We can discuss it all here to clear things up and get our ducks all in a row. Especially since the RP seems to involve quite a few people.

I've always wanted to play one myself. Don't know why but I've always liked them better than vampires and the like.

Has anyone else noticed in the incredible spike in activity over there during the past two weeks? We went from one or short posts per week for months to more than I can read. What happened?

Ding, ding, ding! We have a winner!

At least, that's why I've had more time to post. That and a lot of other things all sort of lined up at just the right time.

Oh, looks like the werewolf thing got put on hold although I did manage to put a mini-werewolf post up as part of another RP.

It looks like this story arc Nemesis is involved in is going to take a lot longer than I originally imagined.

I think it's going to be a blast.

*EDIT*

One more thing. Can someone have an alt come on to publicly and credibly offer Nemesis an obscene amount of money to do a really sweet job.

With the catch being that they have to start right away. The next 48 hours at the outside.

Let's see if we can make the mercenary cry.

That were-critter thread, is it the story that took place in D.C.?

Professor Ali is a poor school teacher (and he's not from one of those rich Middle-Eastern countries either).

Court of Tarot characters are infamous for hiring mercs and bribery, but I don't have any Tarot characters. It seemed to be sort of cheap to be playing a character from an article I wrote.

Raven Davenport has been crying poor lately, but maybe his finances aren't as bad as we were lead to believe. I already offered one job in the Upper Michigan thread just a couple of hours ago. He's also demonstrated lately that he handles business in public threads which would probably be better served in private. Okay, expect an offer from Raven. I'll post a link soon.

Ha-ha-ha, Mephisto is now offering to hire people to investigate the Bermuda Triangle. Nemesis wrote,...
It seems that jobs in warm parts of the world are just popping out of the damn wood work now.

This is a one-two punch which I did not see coming. I don't know if you planned it that way, Mephisto, but I thought it was hilarious.

Hey Lord Z,

When Nemesis is done with the current plot line they're embroiled in, I was planning on a new job that might interest you to some degree.

Basic Premise:

Nemesis is hired by a wizards family and friends to avenge their fallen comrad against an unpleasant enemy wizard.

Nemsis takes the job, invades wizards home, shoots wizard and mistress in face.

A cat is discovered there. Since Nemesis has been looking for one, it is adopted.

Purpose: Nemesis needs a cat and this was an amusing/interesting way of introducing such.

Reason this may interest you: I was considering using the Court of Tarot in this scenerio. Probably involved as associated with the wizard that Nemesis assassinates.

Sound like something you might want to be involved in to some degree? Or would like to have some input into? Originally my intent was just to get Nemesis a cat and perhaps drop hints about a rival organization.

The only other detail is that the cat itself was the familar of the wizard being avenged. It's no longer an ordinary house cat, but Nemesis is not going to know that.

Yes, elfy is correct. :ok:

You are mean cybermancer :thwak:

It is a bit interesting though because the last time she make such calendar nothing happened (seems to me).

I am interested to see what happens in the Bermuda Triangle, too. A big pity if the new guys already disappear into the Void. :)

Then perhaps we should start a Lazlo Society: Rifts Edition.

If Society members start being drawn into the void, it is possible, likely even, that they will wind up in Rifts Earth. Once there, they ought to restart the Society and await the second coming of Victor Lazlo.

Regarding Nemesis and his cat.

Yeah, that seems like a feasible scenario to me, Cy. The whole story could be seen as another reason for tensions to rise between the two factions. The Lazlos frustrating the Court without realizing was a reoccurring idea. I'm glad you picked up on that.

It did seem like the sort of scenerio that would fit. And I don't plan on naming the court by name. Just a line like, "...the guy seemed to be a member of some tarot card reading fortune club..."

Overall, I liked the Court of Tarot Rifter article. So I thought it would be cool to use it in some perhipheral way at ls.org.
