Epic campaigns have never worked well for me. They always end uncompleted because players get distracted and want to play something else -- or the group just falls apart because schedules change or people move.

On the other hand, I like mulligans. Mulligans are objects in a story that move the plot forward, like the breifcase in Pulp Fiction or the statue in the The Maltese Falcon. The double-agent aspect also seems like fun. If the script were greatly streamlined, I could see it as a useful adventure.

Im kinda stuck on the "Double Agent" of the Lazlo Agency. The agency really isnt so much a spy outfit as it is a group of dedicated people fighting the supernatural. If anything, I would label this as someone who was working for or was at least associated with this group for his own reasons (he could have very well be a rouge agent, but he wouldnt be working for the Lazlo Agency or under anyone's orders to do it).

perhaps if he was a part of a small independent group of people (the players?) who took it on themselves to bring this company/gourp/cult down, that would fit the mold better.
