No....None of the new Occs get secondary skills! We house ruled it the day the book came out. You should be able to pick up new skills no matter what "job" you do. I think the writers got LAZY and gave up on the Related and Secondary skills in this book

I had an excellent read and want to thanks Mark Hall and Kevin Siembieda for publishing new PFRPG books! I can't wait for the other books: golems, other magicks, etc..
I really liked the section about the goblin cobbler, the new OCCs and spells.

I have some questions (i searched the forum first but couldn't find answers):
1. Forsaken Mage & Half-Wizard : What experience table should i use?

2.Does the Half-Wizard gain new skills (related or seconday) has he progress in experience?

3.p.91, Lightning fist: is it 3d6 or 2d6 + normal damage? (the header contredict the spell description)

Thanks again!

The group I run with used the Wizard table. As far as Lightning fist....Im not 100% sure, but 2d6+ normal damage sound right. Hope this helps.......LET THE DICE ROLL!!!!!

MoM 2: Dark Magicks.

Then I want to see MoM 3.

I like OCCs and spells. Equipment I would rather make up myself but just anything. Anything PFRPG and anything that says PBs have completed something they've started.

1) I can find no text about what exp. table to use in the MoM1. However, My brain is whispering "double wizard's" exp.
Idea: since there a 20% penilties on the FM's casting, you might just have FM's have to get 20% more exp for each level.

2) They do not get any secondary skills, at all, via the Half mage text.
OCCR skills: There are none stated in the HM text. If you want to mod this you would just look to the New OCC's for the OCCR level up skills.

3) Taking what the text says:
The damage is 3d6+normal damage is the total damage.
2d6 of that damage is from electrical damage.

I would use the Wizard experience point table, as the majority of the OCC description suggests that it is indeed a Wizard, but one who has had to step outside the bounds of that OCC in search of spell knowledge.

2.Does the Half-Wizard gain new skills (related or seconday) has he progress in experience?

No. This class, while relatively limited in Magic, is essentially two classes in one. Think of a character as having "X" potential for learning, and using it as they progress to 15th level in their chosen field. This class has spent all of that potential at the get go, choosing to learn two classes instead of progressing in one.

3.p.91, Lightning fist: is it 3d6 or 2d6 + normal damage? (the header contredict the spell description)

Not exactly a contradiction, I'd say the author forgot that a punch does 1D4 not 1D6. So 2D6 lightning + 1D4+PS bonus total damage.

The Damage stat reads: 3d6+normal punch damage
Text reads: each of his punches inflicts 2d6 damage from electricity.

Example:
If a mage is attacking someone that is Immune to electrical damage. Then the attack dose 1d6+normal punch damage.

As for the Forsaken mage since they are still trying to gain spells i can see Wizard xp table working for that one. But the Half-wizard i would almost argue that the Experience table you'd use for them is the OCC that they claim they are (ie. Scholar,Thief,Warrior, etc) Since they had learned magic and since gave up the art of learning it and pursued a new OCC profession.
