Difficulty Level?
A while back there was a game master screen (Rifts Screen??) that had magic and each of the spells had a game mechanic that I liked called a "Difficulty Level" (D.L.
I can not find the screen and yet wanted a refresher on what the game mechanic was. Can anyone help me out on this?
Thanks!

Re: Difficulty Level?
Isn't that just the level the spell is? like level 1 or level 5?

This is the first time I've heard about this about the PB system. However, with the old spell system (spells per day) there were spells that counted as more then one spell towards the SPD count.
The only other thing that comes to mind is it was a GM screen that some GM made up with his own house rules on it. With one of them being that each spell have a difficulty level attached to it. With the PC having to roll above/below the DL to cast the spell correctly.
May you be blessed with the ability to change course when you are off the mark.
Each question should be give the canon answer 1st, then you can proclaim your house rules.

I think the difficulty level was for learning the spell.
I cannot be sure however as I never used the GM screens.

Every group has one problem player. If you cannot spot the one in your group; look in the mirror.
It is not a good session until at least one player looks you in the eye and says "you sick twisted evil ****"
