Top Lazlo Posters

I was trying to find what were the best active topics, by active posters, and I started looking at the member list.

The top 25 posters by number of posts are:

I put an "###" after those who have posted this year. (Outlier in that I thought Celeste Darken was dead in game.)

A couple of thoughts: I wonder how many of these accounts are differet people, and how many are are multiple characters by a few very prolific players.

Of the half of the most prolific posters, are their players gone, or have they moved to new characters who have fewer posts and don't rank as high yet?

What do you think?

I won't speak for anyone else but both Nemesis and Cybermancer (obviously) are mine.

I have two accounts, but neither appear on this list.
Currently recruiting for Beyond the Supernatural games in 2019 which I am running on Discord: voice, text, and play-by-post. Here is the non-expiring server invite link: 418BQSLG

Yes that's true, but both are significantly higher than my accounts.

It is a little telling that 14 out of 25 of the most prolific posters haven't posted in the last year.

But there also seem to be a few newer posters who are relatively active that haven't had the chance to raise their post counts as high yet.

It's hard to get people interested in the site and then keep them interested.

Holy cow, after a year and a half away I'm still in the top 20. (At my peak, I think I was #7.) My life has been kinda busy since Lazlo opened. I joined the Army, deployed to Egypt, became a cop, and deployed to Iraq. Sadly, I'm out of BTS ideas, and have been for a while. Sometimes I think about posting as a Lazlo agent or one of the Shaolin students informing the board that Willie had passed away, or disappeared while on an investigation. But I remain optimistic that Willie has more stories to tell, even if I'm not the one who writes them.

(There are a few dual identities in the list, but it's not like six of them are the same poster. None of his are even on that list.)

I represent 2 of the 12 accounts with 4 digit post counts.

Between ore than half a decade without a new book, little official promotion of the site and life just keeping people away from the boards it's not surprising so many of the core members have gone silent and little new blood has come back.

I will say a big number of the top 10's post counts were in character back and forths with each other, rather than anything inhereintly story related.

Congratulations to the top posters! As for support, we are doing what we can. Mr. Loucifer has been knocking the Rifter articles out of the park, and he is slowly developing his own masterpiece sourcebook. The Boxed Nightmares 2 Micro-Source has been sent to our lay-out artist for inclusion in Rifter 0.1. She reported to me yesterday that BN2 was going to take up about 100 pages even after being reformatted.

Lazlo isn't a ghost yet. I can tell because it doesn't give more of an ISP modifier yet.

Let's hope it never does. Well, except for that x2 for investigating the supernatural. :ok:
