anytime,
helpful little tip though is that if you are looking for anything in the rifters there is a database in the Rifter section of the forums. It's worth checking out.

In the back of the N&S book there is a PF martial artist OCC.

Thought of that myself, but the PF Martial Artist in N&S follows 1ed PFRPG rules. On a side note, has there ever been a 2ed PFRPG update for the PF Martial Artist from N&S?

In some ways I believe that the N&S book need updating, like the out of date combining N&S with other PB settings section.

In other ways, I pray to God they don't touch N&S or the will
"Frell (or Frack or you own favorite descriptive adverb) It Up" like they did with Rifts.

If I was going to change any basic thing about N&S. I would have the Melee rounds be 5 sec long, or to triple the amount of APM each MAF have. This would also bring them closer to reality. I would rather change the melee round length then to re-do the progression tables.

Another option would be to just to up the starting APM by adding HU's '2 APM for living'.

It shouldn't be that hard to modify the OCC to fit 2nd edition Palladium Fantasy. Or go with one of the Fighter OCC and simply make their available MA Zanji Shinjinken Ryu instead of the usual selection. Samurai as far as skills go aren't that different from any other warrior just have that specialized weapons training.

It would be easier to modify the samurai OCC in rifts japan, it actually has all the elements of a samurai.

If you do mod the N&S PF MA OCC to be a samurai make sure to do your research into them.
- with samurai sword play and horse-back archery are the key aspects of the class.

You can look at the compendium of ancient weapons for their swords, bow, and armor once you get to that point.

By the time I got to second Edition, I had spec-ed out my own PF2 Martial Artist, and had also created Kenjutsu and Kyujutsu martial arts geared specifically for PF2, and not N&S.

If anyone's interested, I could dig that up and post it.

i'd love to see it :)
