Has anyone actually played a Flooper?

The too many O.C.Cs thread inspired me to ask...
I know a lot of people make fun of the Floopers by claiming they are the greatest thing ever but has anyone actually played one?
As an aside, they get +2 melee actions at first level. The book goes into further detail by emphasizing the fact they are actions and not attacks, what exactly does that mean?

I would say action = anything but an attack. Run, jump, move, tell a joke, floop?

I brought up obscure occs/rccs before questioning if people any where have ever played some of them, and one or two mentioned playing a flooper. I wonder how many active rifts players there are any more to be playing all these classes and races.

I have been playing Rifts for nearly 20 years, and in all that time, I have pretty much only used the core book for classes or other PB settings (ROBOTECH, N&SS, Nightbane, etc.). I have played a RIFTS vampire and a werejaguar...but none of the other stuff from any of the other books ever struck a chord with me...they are just...blech to me...the core book had it all and if I wanted something different, I just modified the core classes or imported something from another setting.

Kind of off subject but some buddies and I played a campaign where one of us was a were-jaguar. He was our resident serial suicide bomber

That demands more explanation, spill it.

I've considered the possibilities of minor Biowizardry modifications to diabolical Floopers....enlarged jaw, sharp teeth, maybe claws...if it didn't interfere with their Flooping abilities....major nastiness ahead...
Cannibal Floopers!

I've played a Flooper. It was years ago though, I don't think I was out of elementary school yet - so I really don't remember much about the character or the campaign.

He had a chip on his shoulder about being considered "cute," so he wanted the world to suffer.
He usually used paired NG-57s or a NG-P7 for ranged weapons.
If it came down to close quarters combat, he'd drop a fusion block or a belt of grenades and floop out until the explosion was over.
He'd often go undercover as a clown or other entertainer sometimes to get close to his targets, and generally play the buffoon in order to make people underestimate him before he killed them.

Evil

, and yet another vindication of the belief that it's perfectly all right to be paranoid and suspicious of anything cute...because it just may want you to drop your guard so it can kill you.

Sounds like a lot of fun.

i played a team of Floopers as NPCs during a game i was running. they called themselves the "Super Flooper Ninja Death Squad" or something. They underperformed for the amount of money they were being paid, so they were only around for one or two sessions before the PCs decided they could do the job without Floopers.

Wow dude and yeah. I watched something about a dingo attack on Animal Planet and my first reaction was, "Looks like a normal stray that we kick and goes running."
