Lee Kwan Choo Question

In the paragraph detailing the shock effect.
"For example, while fighting in the Lee Kwan Choo style, the combatant would avoid all attacks. Suddenly, she will lash out with a devastating punch between the eyes of the opponent. In any other style this would be a killing blow, but here the fist gives a fraction of an inch from the victim. The defender would take NO DAMAGE, but the shock will cause a stun that lasts from 1 to 6 Melee Rounds."

Is this an automatic stun, and if so, what actually happens to the defender for those 1-6 melee rounds?

N&S pg 131: Knock-Out/Stun rules... "The dazed person cannot attack or take any action and is -4 to Parry and Dodge" Also stated in this section that the effects last for 1-4 melees and that the attacker must declare intent, but the ruling for Lee Kwan Choo supercedes this. The Stun effects for the form are automatic (do not have to be declared) and last for 1-6 melee rounds

One of the things I've been thinking of altering is this attack. Rather than stun your opponent for 1-6 Melee rounds, I've been thinking of tweaking it to the attack "startling" your opponent, causing him to lose 1-6 Attacks for the melee round. That seems more realistic to me.

Thoughts?
