Cyberknights Armor

I have two questions: First, Cyberknights have cyberarmor as a basic perk, they also wear an exterior suit of armor. Do they take a mobility penalty or not? Second question: when it says personalized armor, does this include technowizard under cyberknight? I say yes because it is tailored to the characters specifications and preferences.
My friend says no because personalized armor does not mean technowizard armor, it means color and style.
Which is right on your opinion?

Cyber-Armor is a cybernetic implant and is thus part of the character - it doesn't result in a movement penalty.

"Personalized armor" is a bit trickier to answer. It's really whatever the G.M. will allow, but typically means color, styling and minor design-tweaks; not TW modifications. Ask your G.M.

Personally, I wouldn't allow a player to have their first level Cyber-Knight have TW modifications on their armor. Unless, of course, it fits the campaign and the player had a good back story as to why they have those modifications.

They go into depth and detail about CK armor, in the CK book. There's different kinds, from light non eviromental up to full heavy enviromental.

by personalized they mean 'Style'. As the CK (( many not all)) Tend to wear modern armor that LOOKS like "Knight" armor..

But yeah. Check out the CK book. I think there's at least 6 different kinds listed. (( with pretty extensive picture reference. Each type will list 'Check page ___ and ___ and ___ and ___ in this book for this type of armor)) So you can really get the feel

Not for standard cyber armor.

Definitely not.

Cyber-armor is bonded to the skin, there shouldn't be any penalties accruing to the use of anything else over it as it's basically in place of your skin now and just as flexible.

Personalized generally means cosmetic appearance and not extra features whether basic tech or TW.

Ditto to all the above but if your the GM go with what works for you. If your not the GM let your GM know its what you want and he can work it into the story for you 8-)
