Ogres Psionics and the Psimystic

I know this subject has been previously addressed in the faq. However, since that time the Mysteries of Magic Book 1 for PF2 was published. PF2 says that Ogres can be any ooc without omission. However, it says that they do not have psionics. Rifts CB1 says the same thing. The faq says that ogres cannot be PCCs however the Mysteries of Magic Book 1 states that ogres can be psi-mystic even though in the discription in PF2 its says someone with any level of psionics can become a psi-mystic. That presupposes that you have have at least minor psionics to begin with to be a psi mystic. Can we get a ruling from Kevin? Is the Mysteries of Magic statment simply poor editing, something that needs to be in errata or is it cannon? Can ogres be psi mystics? Thanks

Since PF is not Rifts where they have bastardized the class labeling system, this is true. This is because psi-mystic is a PCC, because all pionic classes are PCC's.

Has just reviewed the MoM1 book where it talks about psi-mystics. And the part that is talking about ogre PM's, the major thrust of the ideas flowing there is about magic, which is allowable to ogres. So I believe this is ether a case of the writer not doing his due dilagence in his research, or Bad Editing (editing for game mechanic faults), or just the exuberance of the writer talking about the magic aspects of the PCC he did not realize that he added the ogres into a list they did not belong in.
Concluding in, No, ogres still can not be ANY psychic character class. Even in rifts where they are listed incorrectly as OCC's.
