What are your Favourte Magic items?

Transformable weapons. Oh and the crystal magic weapons in Book VI

Magic carpet. Enchanted bags. Oh and the crystal magic items in Book VI

I quite like items that have a lot of power but also a lot of curses such as the southern religion headdresses.

I always have a soft spot in my heart for a Cloak of Shadows. My first magic item ever acquired when I first played PF.
The no named steel gauntlets w/ glowing red runes from the Shrine of Ventax. I know it isn't exactly cannon but a fun adventure from Rifter 11.

Used the lion headdress recently- almost had a PC become the most hunted NPC! Great fun!! Read about it here

always liked the tw smg for just the free ammo in low mdc games.
the impaler rune sword from atlantis-----first one a char ever got
amulet of the sun from SA (1 or 2 cent rember )

any rune weapon from the back of library of bethlssa-what ever from PF

I'm not sure I have a favorite magic weapon that's not situational.

Magic Items however, Screech bottle, hands down.

yeah I mentioned some of those but thanks for informing me about how with a megavesal system I couldnt possibly have a tw smg in palladium fantasy.....I am enlightened

As a GM I will seed the game with decent but not overpowering magic weapons. Rune weapons I reserve as rewards at the end of an exceptional campaign. Most rune weapons come with a price, and that price must be paid. I do not rule out a PC having a "special" weapon crafted for him /her but I make it difficult (not impossible) to acquire the materials to fashion it.
I find there is better balance when you make the player get creative to overcome obstacles/foes and not just give them a mega +33 flaming vorpal sword of lighting! what fun is that!

Magic weapon : Kobold quality sword with super-sharpness. (using dwarf made is below me as they are an inferior race)

Magic Item : Idrantine Circlet to hold isp which will allow for more communing with animals
